To anyone feeling lost, stuck, or unhappy in life, you're going to be ok. I want to show you how even though nothing makes sense right now, one day, the dots will connect.
This is my journey through childhood trauma, unconventional upbringing, heart break, corporate burnout, to travelling around with world to find myself. I've spent the last 3 years on a healing journey after quitting my corporate job due to my burnout in 2021, and I'm finally able to see the dots connect now.
I've never been more grateful for everything in my life, and I want to share that feeling with you! I hope this video can help and inspire someone out there struggling to make sense of this complicated world. If you're feeling lost, stuck, unhappy with how things are going, have a little faith, because one day, the dots will connect! You got this!
0:00 - Intro
0:45 - Chapter 1: Birth
1:47 - Chapter 2: Canada
3:05 - Chapter 3: My lowest point
4:24 - Chapter 4: Kenya
7:30 - Chapter 5: Europe
9:20 - Chapter 6: Toronto
10:48 - Chapter 7: Work
11:38 - Chapter 8: Nepal
15:30 - Chapter 9: Burnout (2021)
15:58 - Chapter 10: When the dots connect
I'm proud of you. ❤️

Thank you for sharing, half way through, my tear started accumulating, seeing how happily those people live in what we consider the poorest areas, I realized yet again how sadly we in wealthy countries live, at least spiritually.

hey there, thanks for watching! Living in this capitalistic bubble and surrounded by constant bombardments of advertisements, can make us forget what "life" is all about. I'm glad this video was able to do something for you! Take care

Andrew, I knew you in elementary school and the first part of high school. Thank you for this video. This has been quite eye-opening for me, and it goes to show that you won't know what someone is going through just by looking at the surface. I'm sorry I never bothered to get to know you better back then. I'm happy you're starting to find yourself and figure out your direction in life. All the best!

hey, thanks for watching! This is also why I abruptly "disappeared" after half of my first year in high school...Also mind telling me your name? I'm trying to think of who I went to elementary school with who also went to high school with me and can't recall anyone! Feel free to DM me on IG if you don't feel comfortable sharing here. Hope you're doing well!

hey there, thank you for watching and your comment! I went with an organization called IVHQ when I went to Kenya (they do charge a fee though, acting as a middleman between you and the local organizations). The second time (Nepal) I used a website called Workaway and organized it myself, but you really have to spend your time researching and looking for opportunities that aligns with you, it was a lot more involved, but you do save a bunch of money (which can be used towards helping locals instead, that was my reasoning). I think if you are starting out and it's your first time, definitely go with an organization because the experience is much better for exposing yourself to different cultures/volunteering abroad etc. Best of luck! ❤️
