Same! I was in 6th grade and my math teacher was an alumni! She was non stop wearing her Dayton merch and cheering lol... I miss those days of being in junior high. Every day during the tournament, I would get called out of homeroom by another teacher to go watch the March Madness games in his room... I was the only kid allowed to do that... good memories

Richie Czajka we had a study hall at the end for my school and we were all in the locker room watching the games and one teacher said guys come watch it in my room and puts it up the projector I was in 7th grade

As a student currently at Dayton, the hype around this team is incredible. After Crutcher hit that 3 in OT against St. Louis, the entire Ghetto went nuts

that season was one of the happiest moments of my life then turns the wrong way because of covid Dayton was robbed to win everything though they had us as national champs in brackets so maybe 2020 virtual national champs but maybe that season caught the country's and big recruits attention to come to Dayton because of Obi Toppin

All three of Dayton's all time greats got New York connections. Obi Toppin and Roosevelt Chapman are Brooklynites, while Don May was on the 70 Championship Knicks!

I wouldn't say that at all, they've beaten st Mary's, VT, Georgia, and even tough squads like VCU. They have some nice Quadrant 1 games under their belt, with no bad losses
