As a Maus fanatic (THICC DEUTSCHE PANZER JA), I suggest: - Little bit better aim time and accuracy. (Dpm and pen is ok, maybe more gold pen) ~ Give it back 3000hp, in return make it slightly slower (just a bit, or ignore this completely) ~ Maybe better armor behind the tracks like PC, (its 80mm, and in PC 140mm. Or give the tracks 30mm more, they are 20mm now, in PC 50mm. They are 1m wide, come on WG it should be more). People who knows this pens right trough your tracks and makes you feel stupid cause you cant hull angle if they have good AP or APCR pen, but you can wiggle and bounce luckily ~~ Would love that the 75mm coax worked, but hey • Armmor works if played well, needs good positioning in maps. • It's slow but armmor and hp compensates, bad for chasing and caping. • Gold ammo makes it annoying but not as much as in PC, I can handle it somehow, you can also shoot gold. •• Upper plate armor is ok, you cant face hug flat, you have to angle, as well as the turret, its the Maus gameplay. The turret cheeks are now on a good spot (if you use the +4% armmor equipment you gain 10mm, with a total of 260mn like in PC). Its enough, you bait and shoot. When the enemy fires when its grey you move the turret, bounce, and fire. Hull movement helps a lot. Turret sides are very strong, you have to angle more the turret. The purpose of the Maus is to make the enemy loose time with you and hit them in the way while your team does its thing Its in an ok spot, I manage 60% and I love it, it could have some little tweaks but some tanks need more love, like the FV215b and so on

I miss the old Maus heath pool. It’s practically the only thing that made up for the armor at the time. Now it’s either the hp buff or the armor buff equipment to help with the lack of armor.

I had a lot of fun grinding this line, and I fully agree, the anger of maus against e100 has made me rage quit a few times. I had better percentages in the Mäuchen to be honest. But the Maus is very fun when you aren't in a super sniper map and can actually get to a good Frontline position before they turn you into Swiss cheese

when i started to play (3 month after release) i wanted to get maus cause it had 100% armor. when i finally got it i enjoyed it for a short time since it got nerfed so many times

I couldn't be concerned if WG buff the armor and make it strong, I think Maus should be the type of tank that people should fear the most, and players should evolve their strategy to take him down the best way possible, even if it might be too OP, but I feel like the tank doesn't have a fair armor, it should be one of this rare tanks to get a bit more of love and respect from WG, give armor and make it the scariest tank.

If we start to think like wg, it probably won't improve it as we want, perhaps for some reason the range of vision will improve and they will give it the special engine conaumible, which would be interesting but not the best

From my Observation so far about the vehicle, if it means to balance it up sure there will be a few Weak spots, and ofc if this has a somewhat of Historical accuracy, the armors brittle. Even you cant pen the turret cheeks, you have a 50/50 chance to pen it. But ofc there will be a few changes other than the Armor, guns aiming time can be decreased since the vehicles slow after all, hull rotation needs a bit more buff since the vehicles got wide tracks and a strong Engine and transmission. tbh it all seems alright for me, you just have to play it well, sure its your opinion, but i think its already balanced enough since the vehicle will always face vehicles that can pen more than 200mm of armor (historically), you cant deny it either eversince other nations also make their own superheavies to match against Germanies. Thats my opinion about it. Youjust need to play it well. Its just like a E-100 anyways you just angle. Thats Germany's vehicle tactic tbh.

The Maus is most likely used in cities not open fields where you can be circled or shot from everywhere. You need to use the maus in cities where you can't get hit from all sides and where you can hide your lower plat.you can use enhanced armor, then some tanks will struggle penning the cheeks but not all tanks.

(For inexperienced players) How to penetrate the Maus With high-pen heavy tank (IS-4, T110E5, Kranvagn): just shoot AP through the lower plate or turret cheeks/ use HEAT and pen the upper plate With low-pen heavy tank (IS-7, etc...): same thing with AP, aim for turret cheeks with APCR With tank destroyers: once you load HEAT/APCR, the entire tank becomes butter With mediums/lights: shoot lower plate if possible, get to the sides and rear when no enemies are supporting the Maus

WG dropped the maus’s armor a lot, the side and back armor of the hull should be 190mm thick, the front should be 220mm thick. The turret armor is supposed to be 240 in the front and 200 in the sides and back

The armor can stay trash, but pls revert the gun. It was the only thing that it had going for it (aside from being an HP meatball), alpha is bad, the dpm is bad (113 exists), the handling was nerfed and the pen is bad considering the E5 and IS4 exist with the same alpha. It was a realiable "I can sit here and deal damage effectively but not brokenly" tank, now you miss every 4-5th shot or more if you have bad luck.

Tbh I'm fine with the maus' performance in randoms but if it gets buffed that would be great. And let's just stop kidding war gaming knows exactly how to balance a tank and run their game or else they wouldn't have an almost 9 year old still growing game and a like 13 arguably more successful game.

Maus still has one of the highest survival and win rates of any tier 10. They balance for the masses, not for top 2% of players.

I think the maus upper plate should be immune to all shell types unless your at a flat angle to shoot at it (above the tank with premium) the biggest issue with the maus for me is the upper plate more than the turret, sure the turret I think needs a buff but a absolutely unacceptable reality is a high HEAT round which doesn’t care much on angle armor butters the maus frontal plate which I think is stupid or a TD slapping a round on the same level of ground on the upper plate, “oh you have to angle” since when do we not allow a super heavy tank like the Maus to have a strong upper plate? “I’d be broken” it doesn’t have good dispersion accuracy is meh reload is meh alpha for heavy tank is meh compared to high dpm tanks, how is it a auto loader like the t57 or a AMX Foch which is my opinion so much better hull armor than a maus frontally ok sure there troll but they can dish out large damage with armor with decent dpm and the burst potential with mobility Maus needs armor and a massive armor overhaul buff turret eh idk at a angle shouldnt be able to pen the sides of the turret even with prem rounds in my opinion as it’s the strongest part of a heavy tank in my opinion but if I was to buff the maus id be hull immune (in exception to the lower plate) and a small turret buff to where you need like a JG or hori pen the turret not almost every tier 10 in the game with premium able too pen, type turret is stupid a AMX51 is stupid a super conq turret is stupid a maus turret is eh

The additional big problem with maus armor is that the inside of hull covered by track is all 80mm. This is make almost tanks can cut off track and damage at the same time.

Not to discount you chief but normal ammo is not going through a Maus cheek when its angled. And yeah the Maus is fine tbh, absorbing fire for its team, if it properly angles and sidescapes correctly nothing much is going to pen it. The E100 has a worst armor profile simply because you can just pen it through the turret ring and its turret face is just way easier to hit. People have this same arguement on pc wot where they say oh the maus isnt strong enough yet when a maus knows how to angle, knows how to wiggle and bait shots its a complete menace.

They should make the turret cheeks on the maus impenetrable. The only frontal part you should be able to pen on the maus is the lower plate.

When Maus is a meta it's never a fun game. Also point of Maus is a distraction and also comparing VK 90 to anything is not fair since that tank is disgustingly strong. Maus is a bullet spunge or in this case shell spunge and that's the point of it. It's already good at wasting peoples time killing it. Give it more fun and it will no longer be balanced. It's an okay tank good in right players hands. It should stay like that. Also E100 turret overbuff was a mistake. It even left VK 72 only having advantage of tungsten shell and nothing else. We already experienced Maus meta and I don't want it back.

In the second battle you complained about not being able to do that much damage. But haven't you always said that the Maus is not made to deal damage but to block damage? You blocked almost 3k surviving with almost half of your hp. Argument that skilled people wouldn't bounce you is in my opinion invalid, cause there is just much more bad players and that's where the Maus does fine
