Tiles
I have found a way to find all the tiles from the game, by going to the following link and pressing "Install" on the top right, you will have the Project Zomboid Modding Tools added to your steam library:
steamdb.info/app/380880/info/
After that, after downloading it right click it, manage and browse local files, go to the "Tiles" folder, then the "2x" folder. Here I believe are all the tiles from the game.
Modded clothing and items
To find modded clothing items, we have to reach the steamapps folder. To do so, go to Project Zomboid in your steam library, right click it, manage and browse local files, then on top where you can search the location of a folder or file, go back to "common", "steamapps", then go to the "workshop" folder, "content" and "106800".
Each mod has it's own ID. To know which ID belongs to what mod, you can go to the mod's page in Steam, and you will see at the end of the URL on the top left. Then simply find the "media" folder where all the models and textures SHOULD be (not 100% certain).

There's also a really easy way. You can get the tiles used in-game by downloading the tileset that the tilezed comes with. The post for Tilezed (the map editor for zomboid) on their forums links to the game's tileset, with all the textures you need! Though, the method you've done is pretty good and a good way to do it. since the textures in question are still "Isometric" view as in game and need to be tweaked a bit to look right.

These videos are amazing, thank you so much for a well-presented tutorial. I'm curious what the best direction is for using these rigged models to create custom animations for modding from this point. Is it just continuing along the lines of using keyframes to perform actions you want and then saving that as the animation file to include and reference in a mod? Thanks again for your awesome content.

Look for the project zomboid map editor, it should have all the world textures in there. My one question is hasn't anyone tried to add high poly models to pz? Is there a limit?

Im having issues with the car, in the game files, the cars are fbx files, but when i import them in blender they say "ASCII FILES are not supported"

I had this issue too, it's pretty easy to fix. Open the .fbx file in Visual Studio, then save it, but under a different name. After that you should be able to import the file with the changed name.
