Whoa hey guys! Here's another quick DIY on the first generation (the ORIGINAL superbike) Honda CB750K. This tutorial will help you take any slop out of that old, tired, possibly stretched, throttle cable!
This is NOT a DIY on how to replace, repair, or clean/lube the cable, but it can be used as a companion to any of those projects to get your throttle back to where it needs to be!
SLIGHT CORRECTION! The second adjuster near the carbs doesn't exactly have "the same effects" as the one near the throttle. It can cause the throttle to have zero play (too tight) but it can even be adjusted so far from optimal that it can cause your carbs to be open more than they should be. Of course that can cause it's own set of headaches.
If this was helpful, please, PLEASE let me know in the comments down below.
I've got some more video ideas for the CB750K and the AE86, but I'm going to throw this out to the KZfaq community: What would YOU like to see me cover? It could be anything. Just ask away!
