How to Adjust the Holley Idle Mixture Screws

This is a KZfaq Short for the full video where I installed a new Holley Carburetor and I needed to get it dialed in on my 1966 Mustang Fastback.
There are quite a few steps to do during the process of setting up a Carb, but the KZfaq Short videos are limited to 60 seconds, so this is only part of it.
The car is a 1966 Mustang Fastback with a 347 Stroker and T5 transmission.

Yeah, but that came from experience, you couldn't do that the first day you were introduced to a Carb. Most of my videos are geared towards those with little-to-no experience, giving them some tips and tricks along their journey. :)

I want to do this but I can't even get my car to idle. I have to open the throttle to get it to stay running.

Idle ports may be plugged, curb idle set too low, choke not adjusted correctly, accelerator pump not dialed in, etc. It’s tough to diagnose without knowing more, but those are some places you can start. 🙂

@AndyKruseChannel I appreciate the help. I checked base engine timing, adjusted idle and idle screws, cleaned idle ports, replaced fuel pump, points and condenser, etc. I just replaced the intake gaskets and got a different carburetor. I'm about ready to start it again. Hopefully the carb fixes it.
