One trick you can use is to look straight-on in a mirror and draw around the reflection of your face shape on the mirror - use lipstick/liner/etc so it can be easily removed. Most people don't fit perfectly into a specific shape, or they resemble more than one shape, so find the one closest to the drawing you made

Tips to find your face shape: Take a photo straight on and then look at the proportions of your face. If you have a round face, smiling will make your cheeks very full and you will easily be able to see your shape. Round faces have rounded jaws with the forehead, cheeks and jawline being of equal length. Squares and rectangles have sharp, defined jawlines with the forehead, cheeks and jawline being almost the same width. Rectangles will have a longer face. Diamonds have high cheekbones with defined jawlines and the cheeks will be the widest point of the face while the forehead and jawline are narrow in comparison. High cheek bones and a nicely defined jaw with the forehead, cheeks and jawline being of a similar width is an oval. A heart face shape may or may not have a widows peak hairline (looks like a v), it will have a wide forehead compared to a narrow jawline and prominent, wide cheekbones.

asa rond face girl i placed my blush on center of a face, one dots under each eye, one dot on a nose, and blend, try to not put blush on a cheek bone, only on cheeks. This make accent on center of a face and make it look smaller
