If you purchase one of our iron-on transfers, here's what you will receive:
You will receive a physical DIY iron-on rhinestone transfer to that you will need to press onto fabric using heat. You will also receive written instructions and a few extra rhinestones just in case you need them in the future.
Step By Step PRESSING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Please inspect your rhinestone transfer carefully before use. Sometimes stones can shift in transit, and you may need to carefully put them back into place. Please watch the video linked above if you are unsure how to do that.
2. It is recommended that you apply rhinestone transfers with a heat press. A Cricut or other hand-held heat press can be used as well. You may also use a regular household iron. If you are using a household iron, set your iron to a high setting (cotton setting works well) do NOT use any steam!!!
**The following instructions are for pressing your transfer on 100% Cotton or Cotton/Poly Blends only.**
3. (Recommended) Set your heat press to 320°F.
4. Press the moisture out of your fabric for 30 seconds. (DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP)
5. Carefully remove the white backing from your rhinestone transfer and set it to the side. Place the clear sheet that is holding your rhinestone design with the sticky side down (on your garment). The sparkly rhinestones should be facing up.
6. BEFORE YOU PRESS make sure that you double check to make sure that no stones have shifted out of place. If any rhinestones have moved out of place, nudge them back into place. The glue on our rhinestones is very strong, so you will not be able to re-position any out of place stones once you've finished pressing. (The video linked above shows how to accomplish moving stones before pressing.)
7. (Optional) Place a piece of teflon, parchment paper or a light pressing cloth over the design before you begin pressing.
8. If using a heat press (recommended) press for 12 seconds. (If using a household iron, hold the iron firmly in place as you press section by section of the design until all rhinestones have been pressed.)
9. Once pressing is complete, carefully peel the sticky transfer tape off of your design. If properly pressed, your rhinestone design will be affixed to your fabric. If all of your rhinestones have not adhered to your fabric, carefully replace the transfer tape, and press the rhinestones again until all rhinestones have adhered to your fabric.
10. Next, "seal the deal" by turning your fabric inside out and pressing the back of the rhinestones for an additional 5-7 seconds. (PLEASE USE CAUTION WHEN TURNING YOUR GARMENT INSIDE OUT. THE GLASS RHINESTONES WILL BE HOT!) (Please see linked video if you are unsure how to do this.). Turn the garment back onto the right side, and that's it. You're done!
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS: For best results, gently wash your garment inside out and lay flat or hang to dry.
