Wow! Placing the instruments like that is an art unto itself! I thought raising the sides like you did on the piano was a no no? Is that just on ms effects that's ok or am I missing something? Thanks for sharing these processes they're really something else and make everything fit together in the stereo mix so well! Hearing the piano by itself and in the mix.. Wow.. and delay on reverb for sides make putting on the headphones (through my phone) the song just comes alive.. thank you for sharing 😎🙏🕊️

This is great. I love the piano sound! I noticed that in some videos, you use Sutdio One, and others use Mixcraft. Is there a reason you choose one app over the other? And would you recommend Mixcraft? It seems like a very good price for a daw.

I'm still learning studio one (free time is scarce) but I prefer it over Mixcraft in most ways.

I hope these questions are more clarifying than confusing, but when the camera at the beginning of the video was on the Drum Kit track and the separate drum tracks it looks like they are Mono tracks. It also looks like the original piano tracks are stereo tracks. I believe I recall from either your last youtube video here or the last Patreon video that you left the Mono tracks that you turned into Mid/Side tracks in Mono. (In that video you toggled them from to "forced mono" to stereo and back with the Main Bus control leaving the mono tracks themselves in mono.) So I am assuming it is irrelevant whether the original tracks are mono or stereo when you are Mid/Side processing their corresponding bus tracks? Also, I'd be curious to know did you "Send" the individual tracks to their reverb buses in this video instead of "outputting" those tracks to them? (It's difficult to tell from watching). Maybe you could comment on when it would make sense to do it one way or the other. Many thanks again!

They're from old Acoustica Studio drum samples (with a lot of EQ work) but I blended the kick and snare with some Warren Huart samples.

Can you make mono tracks stereo?
