I usually go to study to the library, and there's a girl I feel quite attracted to. The problem was that she is always around people. One day I got out in order to rest and eat, and she was there with only a friend of hers. I didn't hesitate and I seized the opportunity, although I'm not good doing cold approach, even less to a girl who's not alone. I was quite nervous, not in an extreme way that impaired me, but it definetely took its toll in my performance. At first, they were kind of shocked, since I kinda rushed into their conversation, but after a few seconds they were quite friendly. Besides, this girl I like was smiling at me a lot. The point is that I only wanted to talk to her but without being rude to the other one, so I more or less kept talking with both. Since I was nervous, I kinda rushed things and asked them too early if they felt like hanging out sometime. They didn't say no per se, but not yes either, so after a few more exchanges I entered in the library again. I realise now that, aside from asking about meeting too early (it was just like 3 minutes into the conversation), I should have made it clear that I was only interested in one, since it seemed I was like "whoever accepts it's fine". That or that I was looking for a threesome.
