How-To: BANDIT GUN (Borderlands 2)

This is a tutorial for cel-shading a gun like Borderlands 2! Thanks to Evike.Com, I'm using an airsoft gun as a base, but this technique works with any toy gun as well! The core of the tutorial starts at 00:50!
Materials:
➞ Glock 17 Gen 4
➞ SR-PDW-K
➞ 3M Sanding Sponge Fine Grit
➞ Swiffer Dust Pad
➞ Rustoleum Auto Filler Primer
➞ Golden Purple Spray Paint
➞ Rustoleum Laquer Clear
➞ Acrylic Paint (Golden: Mars Black, Titanium White, Cerulean Blue Deep, Teal, Medium Violet, Quinacridone Magenta)
➞ Basics: Paintbrushes, respirator, dropcloth

I really like how you did this, in my opinion this would have worked better as a dahl prop, but that is something I would do, knowing that close to all dahl smg's reload via grip magwell, and the fact I may only have the painting materials for it, I love this paint job you have done, it looks very close to a slagga.

Yeah I got really lucky on the paint! I think it being next to such a dark color helped a ton too!

if you are going to attempt this make sure to mask off the barrel super well and remove/paint the glock by hand. any issues with the slide, barrel or internal workings will disable function. also stick with a 17, 18c is full auto but you would have to remove individual parts to paint.

Also, be aware that this kit is a pretty soft plastic, so dont leave it in the sun or it will melt!

Ok easy way she’s not a borderlands fan, because she just says “a bandit gun” when it’s clearly the slagga smg, which granted is a bandit gun. But it’s a legendary and has its own name

I think you're missing the barrel of the gun. And the scope And the Magazine And the body is clearly from a Dahl assault rifle And the skin is backwards Don't cheat the guns into your game if you can't make it at least look legit. Just farm one normally. Hackers these days.

There are so many different in game guns, I personally think it's best to save time and paint a nerf gun!

If you don't have personal favourite gun, it is understandable :3 I would try to make Sawbar, if I was anyhow talented in crafting :D Your cosplay is great BTW :3

TBH, the fastest way to ruin it is to leave it in the sun :/ I think they are going to work on revamping the print soon though and using a different filament!

10/10 painting a nerf or airsoft gun is super fun and gets good results! If you are looking for a scratch build of one, I have an episode on Prop shop with a free pattern for the N7 eagle pistol 👌
