➡ Aesthetic nursing is a specialty field of nursing that focuses on improving the physical appearance of patients through a variety of aesthetic treatments. Aesthetic nurses provide a wide range of services, such as skin care, cosmetic surgery, laser treatments, and injectable treatments like Botox and fillers. Aesthetic nurses must be knowledgeable in both aesthetic and medical treatments and must possess an array of skills to effectively provide care and meet the needs of their clients. Here are a few advantages of being an aesthetic nurse.

Aesthetic nurses are able to use their knowledge of aesthetic treatments to help their patients achieve the look they desire. Additionally, aesthetic nurses often have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients, which can provide them with the opportunity to build a diverse set of skills.

I just found a job listing for an LPN in a med spa at Sonobello. This feild is changing and growing! You can start there and work your way up to NP if its the goal.

Thank you so much for making this informational video! I am currently about to begin my master aesthetician program in Virginia and I have been considering pursuing nursing school afterwards to eventually become a NP. My end game is to have my own aesthetic practice to be able to perform advanced skin treatments, laser treatments, and cosmetic enhancements like Botox under my own licensure. Do you have any advice in pursuing a career in nursing knowing my end goal and background in the aesthetic industry?

Thanks for the video! Just moved to CA and trying to find out the credible certifications here? I hear mixed reviews about NLI (good for lasers bad for injectables), and AMET. Are individual injector trainings from other states worth it? Or are there any other organizations in CA that provide decent training? Thank you!!!

If you have a medical director, how do you set up getting paid. A lot of states recognize the corporate practice of medicine doctrine. So how does an RN set up their business structure without violating this?

get your esthetician license first because it’s shorter, then go to a community college to do your pre-requisites for nursing then apply to a nursing program with a guidance counselor. good luck! :)
