Wait until the honeymoon period is over and winter sets in, You won’t see the sun from October until April and hopefully you don’t have to become part of the Romanian workForce because the local salaries won’t even cover your rent. Also cross your fingers you never have to seek medical attention because the medical system is absolutely awful. Also the Air pollution is really bad in the winters… I’m not saying Eastern Europe isn’t great but if you aren’t wealthy and / or don’t have an EU passport, the reality is that things are not as easy as you are painting them. I am EU, i live in Poland and things aren’t so easy here

I’ve seen on Nomad Capitalist that Romania 🇷🇴 has some 1% tax incentives for entrepreneurs, definitely might look into that. I’m curious about your thoughts on English speakers moving to non-English countries, especially with no experience in that language. How detrimental do you think that is over the long term? I wonder if a lot of these dudes are getting in over their heads not knowing how much the language barrier will affect them, but conversely wonder how many doors open up if you just buckle down and learn another widely spoken language like Spanish and just throw caution to the wind or if it really matters much, maybe you could touch on that.

Sadly, Paris is rapidly going the same way as San Francisco, London and most Western cities - rising crime, rubbish everywhere, drugs, homeless living in the streets etc.
