I never commented on your videos, because I think I have very little to add. I watched 99% of everything you posted, and I was instantly interested. It is so rare in today's world to see a man who values the truth above all else, who does not manipulate his audience for financial interest, who learns life's lessons in a legitimate and organic way. I admire and respect you Bo, you certainly helped build my life, recognize my mistakes, and that's why I love you man. Thank you so much for everything.

i started my self improvement journey about 3 years ago. i was pretty miserable and earning like $50k/year, no savings and out of shape. little by little i put more effort into my job, my diet, and my saving habits and 3 years ago next week i went from 190lbs of dad bod fat to a nice n lean 171 doing intermediate calisthenics (muscle ups, inverted pushups, etc), making $115k/year and a savings of $242k. that's only 3 years of good choices consistently. imagine what the next 30 years will bring.

Same same, but I only realized this now in my 40's, where it has taken some of the joy away from being with my wife. Man, my late teens to early 30's would be considered "successful" as a guy by today's standards in regards to my notch count, and I know that's far from the truth. I can only imagine how bad it is for women who do the same.

I took up gardening as a hobby to help focus my mind on something other than video games after my dad died and even though it doesn't really seem productive it has done wonders for my mental health and overall cognitive ability. Even just 30 mins to an hour a day of walking around checking for weeds or moving some soil, whatever meaningless task is infinitely more valuable than time I would've spent sitting inside rotting at my desk. It's also made it easier to transition into being more willing to spend time doing productive tasks like working out because in my head I've already accepted that time as having been spent doing something else. It really is all mental its a night and day difference between how cloudy your thoughts are doing nothing productive and actively doing things, it doesn't matter what you do as long as you're putting work into it.

Gardening is good. Gets you outside, creating life, and able to see results from your work. If you haven't tried it before, I have found fishing is highly rewarding. You get outside, get into nature and away from it's modern rat race and stress. You will gain a HIGHLY valuable skill that shows direct results in relation to your skill increase. But even more importantly it's a skill that can be absolutely VITAL in a survival situation. As men, we are driven to protect and provide. Fishing is a great way to provide for yout family/tribe. It is fun on top of it all. And super bonus: The fish are delicious and full of protein!

I had to accept I will never have the perfect body due to ongoing health problems. In 2001 at the age of 29 I was diagnosed with Catastrophic antiphospholipid syndrome. Which is a rare and potentially fatal form of APS characterized by severe thrombotic complications occurring in multiple organs over a short period of time or simultaneously. CAPS is associated with a high (50%) death rate. Despite this I try to stay healthy as possible enjoying each day until my last breath. I moved to Thailand in 2013 mainly for medical reasons considering everything else a blessing. I am happily married enjoying more life for less money without the drama. Most of you guys are healthy having a world full of options if willing to work for it. Life is unfair with you having to take control of the life you deserve despite any hardships you may face. I feel a fool is a person who repeats the same mistakes expecting a better outcome or simply accepts their unhappiness. The right mentality is key for creating a better future for yourself. If you are still making excuses for yourself then you deserve the misery in your life. Learn to pick yourself up becoming your own hero in life.

Started to go to the Gym last year in November.. At the End of December, I started to take it seriously.. I try to go to the Gym 6 days a week for 2h.. The most difficult part is, to swing my lazy ass out of the door.. But I have started to see results, and the Lizard brain as you call it, tunes further and further down.. I should start hiking as well.. I've always wanted to do that.. That might be my next thing to tackle.. I do not need much to be happy (what even is happiness??), but I need peace, especially while I see so much change around me.. I am 47 now, and I am building myself.. I concidder myself a bit of a failure, bc I only survived.. But as you say, it is never to late to start.. Looking in the mirror every day, seeing the change, encourages me to fight harder.. I have been watching your Chanel for 2 years now, and you are the kind of encouragement I needed.. I wish I would have had that encouragement 20 years ago.. But better late than never.. To a certain extent, you changed my life!! Cheers man!! You do good work!! Keep it up!!

That “lizard brain” feeling is what we have been conditioned to believe is the peace we as men seek. Many of us find bliss within our own ignorance. Stopping us from making progress. Unfortunately we usually find this out during huge turning points in life such as a divorce or any significant form of betrayal. If we surpass these turning points then we start making focused efforts towards improving ourselves and/or our lifestyle for better outcomes. I believe that we need to use the system that has conditioned us against itself and figure out ways to create the drive we need to achieve progress.

I think a rowing machine would be better overall for total miles per week instead of running. Also much better than running for the knees. The bad part obviously is it isnt available wherever we travel too but there are other options. I'm not physical therapist but running 10 miles every day even if you cut it down to every other day has got to be hell on the knees over long term. There's some studies on this. Either way great video and thank you for passing on the continued positive message! :D

Guys, There is absolutely nothing wrong with playing video games. It's HOW you use that hobby that matters. If you're just sitting around all day playing games then yes that's a problem. If you use it as a reward for accomplishing something important then that's perfectly fine. It's called being a responsible person with your priorities in order.

Good video, one of the most important things to learn in life is that your mind/ego/thoughts are often your biggest adversary. Stop living only in your head, it is hell. As a man stop giving to much attention to what others have to say, filter who you listen to and never forget that everybody has only a little puzzle piece of the whole picture and one mans truth does not have to be your truth aswell. Listen and reflect on the good parts of wisdom/advices of genuine man, who give bro advice or the missing father/son relationship advices many lack, discard the rest which doesn't resonate with you at all.

I think the thing I felt the most from this was the perfectionist part in relation to the gym because I've done the same thing. If I get the feeling that my workouts will be shit that's when I talk myself out of going because it seems pointless to go. This is one of the most real talks I've heard in a while. It's true that there's always two sides to the story. Everyone likes to play the blaming game. Of course, there are extreme people and cases but overall everyone is responsible for themselves and what happens to them, which then means you have to take responsibility for yourself and happiness to make your life better. If you focus on this, then naturally you will become someone who others want to be with.

On the other hand, it's just fun to enjoy a decent game now and then, provided you're mindful not to get too sucked in. Excuse me, video games don't build intellect? Do normies really believe video games are all just mindless shooters (because yes, there are in fact tactical shooters as well that require quite a lot of thinking to get even decent at). Similarly anime: it doesn't have to be dumb shonen action stuff (Dragon Ball, Naruto, and their gorier counterparts for adults). Watch Cyberpunk 2077 or Nana (and focus on it, not just binge it) and then cry or be depressed for a week due to how heavy it can be. There's PLENTY of thought provoking series out there. Probably there are more good anime than there are good live action shows nowadays (and that's ignoring modern crap manufactured in the west). It's really refreshing and uplifting listening to you but please, educate yourself on a topic before you dismiss it (can't find a reason to defend pr0n though).
