When they started climbing up the easy side, I wondered why she didn’t start descending. Like you said, it is risky. But, I think she has better odds that way. All of this assuming that she didn’t just quietly record the dumping, return to her car, & get that video to the nearest law enforcement station ASAP.

I wondered why Kelly didn't just descend and go back to her car with the camera when she saw they were ascending the easy path. She took a huge risk by continuing to ascend. Either ways, I highly doubt Kelly would have even left Sophie alone with four men in actual reality. Especially since Josh grabbed her arm like that, huge red flags all around.

This is definitely one of those movies where they had a really fun and interesting premise but had absolutely no idea how to get it there.

The idea of doing this crazy rock climbing totally is insane to me. The closest I did was when I was a kid and went indoor rock climbing. I used to have a lot of stamina but I’m almost 40 I don’t think I could do what they’re able to do. And I literally do 5k runs 6 days a week, but I don’t do enough muscle workouts besides what’s obviously part of doing my 5k’s. Even with those without the muscles I wouldn’t be able to do real rock climbing

I'm going to be brutally honest here. This movie made ZERO sense, because everything here could've been so easily avoided. Hell, it's almost as if she wanted all of this to happen. First off, NEVER leave a female friend of yours, wife, girlfriend, or even family member, to hang out with four random dudes, especially when they're the only female present. Some people are just too god damn secure, so much so to the point that they'd think anyone who SEEMS cool, are just down to earth and friendly. Secondly, why didn't she act on that obvious danger sign? You know, when the guy grabbed her? If a man randomly grabs you by the wrist in attempts to seduce you, then run, or scream for help. That man is 100% molester material, and will have no problem forcing himself onto you. As a matter of fact, if some random guy grabbed you without your consent, then that in itself is a huge red flag. Thirdly, when she was running from the bad guys, she could've, with effort of course, gotten away from them by NOT STOPPING. I mean, why did she stop? Seriously though, I genuinely want to know, because that was such a muppet move. And lastly, why in THE ABSOLUTE F-CK, did her friend yell out, ultimately giving away her location? Like Nerd said, record the action, take the evidence, slowly and quietly make your retrieval, and get the hell out of bush forest. But nah, what did she do? She gave away her location, ran and got all of her CLIMBING gear, and climbed a god damn cliff, instead of getting her car keys, leaving all of that extra sh-t, and driving the hell out of there. Please, make it make sense. Those are just the four major things that could've been acted on better, and none of this would've ever happened. As a matter of fact, this entire thing could've been avoided if they all just had better friends, yeah. Moral of the story folks: Have better friends.

Camera is a Sony cx440 maybe since there’s no external battery. The little orange square that blinks when she about to record them throwing her friend means that there is no memory card inserted into the camcorder. Sooooo no evidence. It does have an internal memory but but you need to activate it in the settings so the orange square (memory card with a line through it) wouldn’t show.
