As someone who worked in a corn maze, I have one major gripe with this movie: Corn leaves fucking hurt. They cut you like nobody’s business, even if you’re just in there for a bit. Doing anything other than casually going through it will get you cut. And, here’s the kicker, corn has major oils on its leaves. You get cut by one of those things, and it stings like hell because of the oil on the leaves. Corn mazes also cultivate a very special kind of mushroom which is only found in corn mazes. In peak season, the stuff is all over the place. I’m not exactly sure if you can do anything with them, but it’s worth noting that I see none in this movie.

He would have straight up killed the main bad guy had he not fallen in a trap. Why did they not immediately give him the knife? Why would they allow the 2 short girls to carry the knife when the group literally had a soldier in it smh

i think i would be a bit wary of giving a soldier i don’t know a weapon, since you don’t know if they are suffering from PTSD. i also think that the people will no combat experience will most likely need the protection more, but then again they could be more easily disarmed and may not be able to use the weapon as effectively. best to try to find a weapon for everyone!

He didn’t show it in this review but I’m sure you noticed during the ending when watching the movie, the pan out showed this field was like lowkey under a green patch grid on the map. So kinda like some Area 51 $hit. Think: Driving through the desert & you see like those couple of green spaces..? Literally under that. So it’s no wonder the corn field was never ending. And like home girl realized at the end end as post-mid-credits there is no way out. They basically have to take you out (given you complete the final task ig).

If I described this as the mutant love child of Saw and Predator I would probably making this sound much better than it actually is. Because it's a truly painful experience to sit through such spurious tripe. Also the glasses girl in the movie really got on my nerves!

There was a film called Cube similar to this. Randoms wake up alone in cube shaped rooms. Some are death traps, and some are safe. Each person was picked because they had a necessary skill set to navigate, like an architect who worked on part of the structure or math major to decipher the clues to determine safe rooms or skills needed to keep the group together, like a cop for leadership or a psychiatrist to tend to the group's mental health. However, each was also selected due to a flaw. The cop was violent and had a thing for young girls. The math expert was just a high-school girl, and prone to be emotional, the shrink was a conspiracy nut. So each had a needed skill, but each had a flaw that could tear the group apart.
