Wilson is the greatest survival tool this channel has ever featured. I'm surprised we didn't reach the natural conclusion of also anthropomorphizing it for something to talk to.

I'm so confused as to why zombie Adam is actually a danger... Like, if he's been horrifically burnt to the point he's blind and everything, even with some alien healing stuff surely he would still be pretty much incapable of overpowering her with his muscles all damaged and stuff

Considering how many dead bodies we're going to see in movies in general, i got a feeling wilson the femur is going to be a reoccurring character

One thing I love is that you never assume the MC is always in a perfectly logical state of mind. You still say what the best course of action is, but always point out how the emotions they may be going through will hamper their judgment or change things. It makes it feel much more realistic and shows you actually know what you're talking about.

I don't get how the alien's "selection process" includes nothing about the new world except mental fortitude. It would have made sense if the new world was a stress-test for the actual alien conditions she would get dumped into (like living in a subterranean habitat, or something, hence the crawlspaces and death by asphyxiation/incineration). Instead, we get discount SAW.

You know, I feel like Lisa did pretty good considering she’s a horror movie protagonist. She made fairly smart decisions, or at least avoided the pitfall of ridiculously dumb ones. Getting in the car was a terrible idea (and leaving Wilson), but she clearly does well under murder game pressure.

I can't be the only one who laughed hysterically when zombie Adam dropped from the ceiling like some deranged opera singer, right?

I love how a blind, deaf and half dead person who literally just had their skin burned off would rather chase down a random girl though a million specifically placed holes that require good orientation in a maze he is not too familiar with, rather than take a second to think about the fact that he should be in pain, have affected nerves that could make his pain last for days or even make him lose feel to his body, and mainly think about the fact that he is completely incapacitated and will not get out of there alive. But nope, he decides to chase down the girl and somehow is more oriented and mobile than her. I don't know what the aliens sprayed him with but they should make a commercial for sun screen. I can't even lean on my arm when I get sun burnt but this guy got incinerated and managed to crawl like a monkey.

This movie was interesting and then took a HARD left at the disembodied robocop head. Femurs make the best weapons, however this ending was garbage. What was the point of all the suffering to end up in “paradise” with a clone of your dead child and forced to fight your initial kidnapper/killer? I think this has to be her “afterlife.” She was killed in the car, at the hands of Adam. Because of all of her mental struggles with her daughters death and inability to move on from the grief, this was her mind (possibly souls) way of moving past her grief from her daughter as well as revenge for her kidnapper before releasing her to her paradise and letting her soul be at peace. I would say the timers with the burning tunnels represents hell if the struggle wasn’t pushed through. If this is what the afterlife is like, count me out!

Raid better be paying this guy well, he’s genuinely the best salesman they have.

I think she was actually killed and ended up in a purgatory without knowing it. The 'returned memory' was her probably trying to rationalize her memory of the attack. Then she let go of her tether and moved on

So do you have survive death traps in order to overcome death of your daughter only to meet her soulless clone? If I were the heroine, I would only fly into a rage, considering this as a mockery, and introduce the girl to Wilson (who knows, maybe this is the last test?).

(like watching rats in a maze for humans) Then when she proves to be the best contestant ever by winning... she is given a nice comfy zoo style cage to live in (also recorded so fans can see how their favorite is doing) until she passes from old age. Congratulations contestant, you are now a zoo exhibit!

I would have tried to use the partially melted cuff to see if the guillotine was strong enough to cut through it. If not, then I'd hold the cuff in a U shape and position it so that the blade goes inside the cuff. Hopefully blocking it. Seeing as how the cuff did take some time to melt and the first burn victim Lisa found still had the cuff and it didn't look damaged at all, I'd say I feel pretty confident the cuff may be durable enough to take at least a few hits.

This is the kind of content I love every time I see a new video drop by this guy. The femur-dagger-Wilson running gag keeps making me laugh and shows how he's enjoying writing this stuff up as much as how we're enjoying his videos. Best part is how it doesn't even deviate from the channel's format.

I must say I absolutely love the fact this movie showed her memories from the first-person perspective! It's something that always makes me mad in a movie or show when they do a flash back from the character's perspective and its just... the same omnipresent camera and scene as before. Edit: Also bit off-topic but am I the only one thinking this actress would make a great Aloy if they ever made a Horizon Zero Dawn movie?

The ending is like the one in 'Predators,' where they're stuck on an alien planet. However in Meandre, the aliens seem to have their favour by beating the tunnel maze. I wonder if the other corpses Lisa finds were her failed attempts?

I’m a reasonably new subscriber and the only thing I was disappointed with was when I ran out of video’s while binge watching! Lovin’ your vids.

While we may argue that the tunnel was used to test her ingenuity, phisical fitness and survival instinct i'm annoyed that it was a test about crawling and they dropped her in a paradise world. That is not a phisical skill she'll need. A test focused around running instead of crawling would have made more sense.

When this video started with the line "when you are abducted by a murdered and forced to crawl through a death tunnel." At no point did I realize the murderer wasn't the one responsible for putting you in said tunnel.

Although the femur fact is true, (It can withstand a lot of force) this only applies if you apply the force top to bottom of the femur. As soon as you flip it sideways and add force there, it will break with relative ease. This is because of the femur's bone structure.

Spoiler ahead: At the end, her “daughter” said she died a lot. Throughout the entire film, she came across a couple of corpses. I think those corpses are failed duplicates of her that wanted to give up too early.
