Yea that always annoys me too. They act like the slightest oddity should have warned them of some ridiculously specific danger no one could have predicted happening without already knowing how everything will turn out.

@@julianhaelig119some people just have situational awareness though so just because you lack that crucial survival skill doesn’t mean others are lacking. Paying attention doesn’t cost a thing and a lot of these break downs he’s done are accurate in that aspect.

Especially because other channels make decisions based on hindsight , and fail to realize that most people wouldn't be as calm and rational when they're in these situations, it's hard to focus when you've just witnessed something so sick that you've never seen it before.

Thanks for watching our little film and making this fun video. For what it's worth - Jack told the Mac where they were because Mac had arranged passage for them out of the country. They needed him to make their escape plans. And he definitely climbs DOWN the dumbwaiter. Lol. Enjoyed your take on it all though. Thanks again :)

@@MMAFightMagazine Jack is an impulse character. He's managed to bully or BS his way through most of his life. He's had to. In an earlier draft of the script he and Matty address what they'll do when Mac gets there. But ultimately it was cut for pacing.

I have a question, maybe I missed the explanation for it during the movie, but 2 or 3 times the film jumpcuts to a locked door and it looks as if someone is being held captive there and trying to open it by banging on said door, it couldn't be the original mother, since she can't get out of bed, and while it might have been the storm causing a draft, it really looked like a person was banging on the door trying to force it open

To be fair, we don't know how long Mama & Matthew's picturesque life will last. Maisy and her dad got away, right? Even if Maisy is too developmentally crippled, Pops would inform the cops. Even if Pops weren't there, Maisy would eventually catch up and realize/be told the police are who she should talk to.

This is Don't Breathe but if the Blind Man was a crazy woman and wanted an entire family instead of just his daughter back. Instead of a trio of robbers, it's a duo and all the main characters make it out alive(somehow). Honestly, Rose should've been shot dead by Jack, Matthew strangled into unconsciousness, then Maisy, Pa, and Jack get to a police station who come back and find Maisy's real mom, Matthew, and the orgy of evidence that Rose was psycho. Shit, Jack could spin the story so that he rescued Maisy when he was fleeing violent criminals. No prison time for Jack and Pa would've happily corroborated his story once his drugs wore off

Idk why no horror movies ever point out that cops radio in before entering as property. So when a cop goes MIA they know what their last location was. Since the cop died and never checked in back up would have led a siege on that farm. Also, The Boss was just a small time thug. He had his 2 sons and 2 brothers rob a bank for 1 bag of money. This isn't some big time drug lord with a small army, idk why Jack was so afraid of him.

I love how literally NOBODY follows up with any of these random, mysterious deaths/murders at the end of these films. Like we established, the cop's body was set aside from the scene with a pool of blood that magically teleported from the ground to the trunk of his own car. The gangster boss's body would still be at the ranch along with his son's crippled corpse and the dead, mutilated woman in the CCTV dungeon. And even though Rose and her new forever-baby (along with his now crippled & sedated brother) started a new life in the middle of nowhere, Maisy just... drove off into the sunset...and whatever happened to be her dad. Also, I'm super curious as to how that girl was actually his daughter. She was SUUUUUUPER white. He, obviously, was not. We all know that genetics are a thing so she _SHOULD_ have gotten some of his traits, right? I've had a lot of mixed friends and, newsflash, they don't just turn out looking like 1 of the parents without any traits from another. So unless this girl actually had a different dad and "Pa" here was basically her adoptive father, then he might just be a bit of a sucker 😆. I love the breakdowns on this channel, even for movies I haven't seen. It's about the only place you can get realistic and reasonable responses to the "Hollywood Paradox" bullshit. You know, where people make the worst possible decisions, put themselves into wildly random scenarios, and manage to pick up more "plot" armor than a tweaker in Warzone... And where the law doesn't seem to give a shit once the cameras start rolling.

@@LybrelEven if that's the case, how the hell did Rose manage to evade all authorities, find and live in yet another remote place (infinite money?), when there reasonably would be a nation-wide manhunt for her considering her reported crimes (killing a cop, mutilating a person, false imprisonment of 3 people, and everything else you can throw at her by this point, including the very likely killing of 2 other people (Mac and his other Son), possibly pin the other son's death on her too, and the kidnapping and false imprisonment of yet another 2 people (especially given one of them is not in his best mental state). Hell she should easily top Nr. 1 Most wanted person in all of the Country, especially given Britain's far from being used to such merciless criminals.

I haven’t seen the movie but it does seem to focus heavily on how she lives “off the grid”. If you live in the middle of nowhere with no online footprint, no credit cards, no phone, no internet, and just live off the land, you’d be nearly impossible to find. A person could easily live in some parts of Montana, Wyoming, the Dakotas, and a few other states and never really come into contact with other people. And on the rare occasions when you do interact with others, they would likely live a similar lifestyle and would have no clue who you were. Movies showing people doing this kind of stuff and then living in London are a joke, but living off grid 200 miles from a populated area, you’d likely never be found.

@@TheProfessorExplains I suppose it depends on a case-by-case. I feel like Britain does not have as many such places, regardless they may still exist (and possibly within borders, so that she's not caught at them by the ensuing Manhunt). Other factors would include how much clues would she have left behind at her now-abandoned home. She generally seems meticulous enough, although she still has emotional blindspots. Therefore, its possible her previous victims (that are now free) might be able to give a clue about her future whereabouts (maybe she mentioned another Vacation home or an area she'd particularly like). But indeed, there are some certain scenarios in which she might be able to keep off-grid, and leave her trail to run cold.

Gotta say, a lot of the time in movies, the protagonist choosing to go full Paragon makes a little sense. Here, I don't get it at all. Why the fuck did Jack care so much about what was happening in the house? He works for killers. Pro Tip: Even if your country/territory prohibits owning a firearm, be sure to have one either way. Having contraband that you only used to save the lives of your loved ones or yourself will most likely allow you a free exit with the side of a while in court or something.

One movie I think would be awesome for you to do is Rosewood from 1997. Great cast (Ving Rhames, Jon Voight, Don Cheadle), fascinating true story, tons of insane situations, and some great strategic decisions that you’d find impressive with some other terrible decisions that you would absolutely love ripping apart. How to Beat the Lynch Mob in Rosewood would be a great video that I think you’d enjoy making and we’d all enjoy watching!
