How To Become A Marine? Is a question you might be asking yourself. I know trying to become a Marine may seem to be a hard and scary process and that's why I made this video on the Marine Corps Enlistment Process. I give you a checklist to use for you to go step by step on what you need to do to become a Marine. I also walkthrough pretty much a brief summary of what your first enlistment may include. akira ! 6500 is the exact MOS code for aviation Ordnance so if that’s your contract I suppose that’s what you’ll be getting. Not the overall field. So.. @trell the great.. I already have my ship date and everything i leave septembet 8th, but they dont know what i can do as my job i was put as MP, but the sargant major was like all you really need is to get that EGA and we will take care of the rest while asking me another job i want to do. I want to be an MP but idk what to do😂🤷 i feel im just gonna get thrown into infantry. But my recuriter was saying oh dont worry about the job that you got rn bc when u go back to meps u retake the asvab the first time u took it didnt actually count as the score u got. Aka what u got on the asvab means nothing, but it was the real asvab that i took at meps, sorry bro its alot😂

I've read and heard about people joining the marine core without a diploma or a GED. I had to quit school young and I'm trying to get everything together and I've always known the marines was for me, I'm currently studying for my GED. Would I be able to go ahead and get processed while I'm studying to take my test?

If you have your ged youll need to score higher on the asvab than normal but aslong as you have a clean record youre fine

According to al recruits If you passed 10th grade and have a GED they will allow you in. if you didn’t pass 10th grade you will have to get 15 college credits which is what I’m doing now good luck bro

That's not true, you're thinking of the Army lol. Even then, they are a 28. USMC and Navy is 31, USAF is 36. USMC may raise theirs to 40

SOI has both mct and infantry training battalion, if you’re infantry you’ll got to ITB and train for 9 weeks while mct is only 28 days if you’re any other mos that’s not infantry.

there is more to being a marine than being a worker. the marine corp is leadership and you cannot be a leader unless you go beyond lacky and become a snco. i failed the corp and retired as a sergant.

Hey Trell, serious question here. I enlisted a couple months back, I'm 20 years old. Every IST so far I've passed. At either just over the minimum. Pull ups min 3, I get 5. Crunches min 45, i get 50. run min 13:30 i get 12:30-12:45. I have serious troubles get motivated to get out and workout and my recruiter only does workouts 1 day a week, which I can't make for the next several weeks due to my work schedule. What sort of workouts are best to help improve IST score and overall make the PT part of bootcamp easier? Also what gives you motivation to get out and workout. I find myself saying "tomorrow morning" and then the morning comes around and I say, ill go in the afternoon...evening...etc.
