Need to bind your Flysky receiver to your Flysky transmitter? This video is for you! I'll show you the two MOST COMMON methods of binding that will apply to almost ANY receiver! I'm using the FS-X6B and FS-iA6 receivers as examples for binding with the FS-i6 transmitter (AKA radio).
In case you're wondering what BINDING is, binding is like a "virtual handshake" between your receiver (Rx) and your transmitter (Tx), and is required before you can use the receiver. This way your transmitter will "remember" the receiver and automatically "pair" with it every time you fly.
*NOTE: My bad, GT3B is a transmitter and GR3B is the receiver.

I think we can use an old usb phone charging cord and phone charger to get 5 volts to power a reciever to bind it to our transmitter before we even have to put it in our drone or plane . The red and black wires are 5 v on a 5v phone charging cord . This might make it easier . Bind buttons can be hard to hold down while plugging in a battery with one hand if the reciever is mounted inside the model . So check the voltage with a meter if you try .

For anyone struggling, it's easier if you first power up your quad without the receiver connected, then hold the bind button while connecting the receiver wire.

I use a FlySky FS-i6X Tx and FS-iA6B Rx for my model sailboat. I would like to collect control data (PWM) using a second FlySky Rx connected to an Arduino and datalogger. Is there any way to simultaneously bind two receivers to a single transmitter? I also have FS-GR3E and FS2A=4CH receivers available. Thanks.

Adam, to say I could use your help is a huge understatement. I bought a heavy duty, all steel hydraulic loader from an online auction. It came with no paperwork, no instructions, and I'm totally new to this. Upon playing around trying to figure it out, I could only get the bucket to raise and lower. thinking there must be a problem with channels synced between receiver and controller, I chose the factory reset option, big mistake I know now. Ive been doing a ton of reading, and watching videos, about all of yours, so I think I have a grasp of what needs to be done. Doing it not so much. everything i have watched regarding binding the two, the receiver is out of the truck, plane, etc. Can I bind the two with the receiver in the loader? taking it out looks problematic. I have made a jumper bind wire, put it on with heat shrink protection from touching the center terminal. Can I now bind with the FlySky FS-I6S? If so, how? The receiver is a FS-IA10B. 2nd question, would you be willing to help me set the remote controller up? I am reaching out to you here, I am new to this so not sure where would be best. I need help bad! And it would be greatly appreciated! Tom

Adam I have a RTR truck that is all set up, but when I went to power up the radio it was junk. I bought another radio same model and style and went to bind the new radio to the same receiver and the receiver would not stay on.. something is amiss can you help please!!!

Help! adam I reversed channel one on the controller now i can' t reverse it back . i have followed the instruction the switch looks flipped but its not. I am using this on a sailboat for the main sail control. Down should bring the sail in and up should let the sail out . i reset the controller defaults and followed your instruction to rebind the receiver.

I've got the exact same receiver and transmitter. I'm not able to get the receiver to have the fast-blinking light when I have the bind cable and a 5V power supply plugged in. I'm able to get it to start binding to the point where the led will be blinking slowly, ~1 time per second, but the receiver never says "RXBind OK." I've been looking online for over 2 hours and haven't found anybody else with this same issue.

Hi! Just now saw this. No, this will not bind with Spektrum transmitters. And no, you do not necessarily have to have a motor to use this setup and control the servos. But if you don't have the motor esc to power the receiver and servos, you will need a seperate voltage regulator to power the receiver and servos at 5 volts.

Hi, what battery did you used to power the receiver 2S 7.4v ? That receiver take only 6.5v, will it damage it ?

Hi! The battery is 2S, but it is connected to the ESC, and the ESC is regulating the output voltage to a constant 5v (using a built in Battery Eliminator Circui (BEC)).

As far as I know, that model profile will stay bound with that receiver until you bind it with a different receiver.

oh no! It shouldn't have anything to do with the battery if you plug into the ESC 5v servo connector.

Fs-T6? No. The T6 is only compatible with the older AFHDS radio protocol while the ia10b uses the newer AFHDS2A protocol. Here's a link to flysky's website where they show all the receivers www.flysky-cn.com/receivers

Hi! No, Flysky receivers can only be used with Flysky radios (or multi-protocol radios like the Jumper brand), and vice versa.

I'm going crazy! Need help! I bought a new eachine cinewhoop. I had a Flysky i6 transmitter and I bought a Flysky x6b receiver. I can't get the bind light to even come on. I've tried several things. Do I even have the receiver plugged into the flight controller correctly? I just used the already attached wire from the flight controller and plugged it into the x6b ibus port. The receiver gets very hot and does not bind. Please help! Thank you!

I've been watching a few of your Videos on the FlySky FSi6 Radio, which I'm brand new to. 😖 I have a second FSi6, that I fly my Foamies with (sorry!! Not a hardcore Flyer 😋). This one in question, I'm using for 1/14th Scale RC Semi Trucks. In the Video, you said that I could Bind any FlySky Reciever to this TX! What about a THREE Channel? I've got the i6B in the Truck itself, but I also want to operate the Lights, Signals, Brake Lights - on the Trailer - wirelessly, with the 3ch Reciever. 😳 Now, Binding two RXs simultaneously to one TX is the easy part for me... Both sets of Turn Signals will run on Ch 1, and the Brake Lights on Ch 3. ..... I don't NEED 6, 8 or 10 channels in the Trailer, obviously. Will a FS GR3E Bind to my FSi6?? Your Videos have been invaluable so far!! 👍👍

Hi, Carmine! Yes, you can use the GR3E rx! But you have to change the rx setting for that model profile to the older AFHDS protocol, as you can see in this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iNBgoceL3bCbmac.html .

Hey Adam, Im trying to bind my frsky r-xsr with my flysky fs i6x. The r sxr wont go into bind mode. When plugged in with a lipo and bind held all the red green and blue lights are solid, all on. I have my flysky set to PPM and SBUS. What am i doing wrong ?

Hi, N7! Unfortunately FRsky and FlySky are not compatible brand (They use different radio protocols).
