Great Paint job! if anything the only tip I can say is put it back on the car, turn it on and let it idle for about 10 to 20 min then turn it off and let it cool down. That will help the paint bake onto the metal. Or you can put in a box, cut a hole at the bottom and leave a little open gap at the top and let the heat gun run on max inside the box for a while for it to bake too.

what does primer help for, cause i’ve seen other videos that don’t need the primer they put the the wrinkle paint instead.

Krylon and Rust-Oleum also make a textured paint. Back in the 60,s we used a old oven (not your moms) to bake the product for a hassle free even finish. So, go buy a old working stove/oven or get one free from CraigsL and bake away.

Did you use any prep solvent before you primed it? If not how did you make sure it was clean.

Mark Scheurich I was originally going to clean it with alcohol then wash it off since I know most people don’t have access to a hot tank but at the shop I got to we have a hot tank so I let it sit in there forgot to mention sorry !

uhhhhhhh its taking a bit longer because you have to shake the stripper before pouring it... as you can tell... what you put in the plastic bowl is a separated two part stripper, im surprised it didn’t take longer but that should fix your problem
