Tip- You can use the brush "Watercolor (Water)" to blend! It is very close to the brush that they use here.

It was easier for you to use the smudging brush, because the brush we took in the palette mixes a lot with the colors, whereas the smudging brush (does not have a brush palette) does not mix

The airbrush is better than smudge/blur tools

Tip : You get a dark colour then get a dark but lighter colour on top of the previous dark colour. Keep doing that until you finish the light cover. After that , use blur then click left - right / up down. (Depends on where the colours are placed) Its very fast and easy!

When adding colours, use the air brush (particles) and then blur. It works really well.

i wouldnt suggest using blur because it makes everything way worse, but just my opinion. (if you meant gaussian blur then my bad, but yeah the blur tool scares me)

Another easy way to blend after you’ve blocked in the colors is to use the watercolor mix brushes. I find those the easiest for soft blending 😊

How i blend: Make a color that becomes lighter to darker and the layer must be multiply, Blur the colors and tap the colors ( Up to 10 - 15 seconds ) if it look likes it almost blending use smudge, dont hold around, tap around it and done

This helps. To add a little shade for the color in your art, use different shades of the color type. For example, I wanted to use blue. A light, normal, & dark tones of blue in stripes. The magic wand tool can be used to blend for certain parts of the artwork. Do that, and only the selected outline will be used to blend the colors. And voila, you added some shade. 😀

you could also use the blur instead of that brush or the air brush but you need the lighest color as the base and the darkest color for the airbrush

the result is kinda different but it is really similar this technic might be for adding perspective, which is not possible with just the gaussian blur or the airbrush

Yes, Of course, lad! This is just an answer to those people who's asking me "how I blend" on my painting tutorial incase the blur thing doesn't work as much as it blurs and make painting like smoothie 😊 I hope IbisPaint will upgrade their tools soon enough and make a "blend" tool right way like infinite painter or procreate, so people don't mislead..

I usually just make a selection around the color area using select opacity tool in the selection tools menu andnthen use blur tool
