Just feed the boot blouse through the hole that holds the string then you’ll never have to keep undoing your boot blouses.

Perfect. Thank you. I blouse mine to just below the first or second eyelet, to keep debris/water out. It performs an actual Function, not just an appearance.

as a cadet, i was taught to stuff the inner layer of your pants into the boot, then blouse the outer layer.

Dude what a pain! I just tie the drawstring and make the pants neat with a tuck-fold before I slip on my boots. No elastic band to restrict circulation. Simple and looks nice

The band isn't that tight though. Doesn't restrict circulation yet keeps the pant leg in place. I used to use them daily and they worked great.

Rubber bands would probably snap too easily, I suggest you just get some from a military shop or buy them online.
