You should get a few cans of tintable raptor liner and spray the box of the truck. You can tint the raptorliner the same grey as your truck.

Used dura glass. It is way better than body filler. After you use the dura glass then use the body filler also the dura glass will prevent rust.

The way I've heard it was "If I had a better welder, or I was a better welder", it would have come out better. It looks great and if the bondo falls off, the Frankenstein look will be cool too.

I’m no welder, but I’d imagine a better electrical path for the angry pixies to travel may improve welder performance. The alligator clamp for grounding only has 30% of the wires remaining - like a frayed winch line.
@DirtGarage

Yeah it's not ideal. Welder is on the upgrade list once I get actual power to my shop not supplied by extension cord!

I've been wanting to do this to my Tacoma, but I'm sketched out by the wheel arch body lines that look like they would interfere. Can' t wait to see your rig finished.

Yeah on Tacomas it would be tricky. The 3rd gen body lines work great for bob!

Suggestion: when it is finally ready to go, just rhino-line / Line-X the entire truck, that way no one will ever see the Bondo, when it cracks.. LOL Line-X will protect the truck from rust too.
