Life saver.. my Brother purchased a german shepard puppy that was suppose to be 6 weeks. Turns out shes 2 weeks old 😢. I am now taking care of her full time, so thankful for this video!!

Aw poor baby. We just brought home a 4 weeks old cocker spaniel. The breeder took her from the mother and siblings and just left her at the vet and he won't let the puppy stay another month with her mother so we had to take her. I've read that it can lead to socializing problems etc. so I wanted to ask how did it go? Is your puppy healthy? I really wanna do the best to keep her healthy

When we raised a litter of puppies when I was a kid, it was rather last minute and we had no idea what we were doing, but the pet store we went to (it sells other things but it's mainly a pet place) had some cheap, 4 oz baby bottles and it worked quite well. The puppies certainly didn't seem to mind!

I appreciate this video I am caring for a 2 week old premature puppy, the only survivor of a litter of 8, the mom kept having seizures during birthing, horrible situation, but, so far Zeus is thriving, but, he does sometimes choke while feeding, hopefully in time this will get better

Whoever sold you that chihuahua shouldn't have sold it to you at 6 weeks. Earliest age they can go to their new homes is 8 weeks.

I just got a puppy tonight that was abandoned and I assume he is around 4-5 weeks all feedstores within an hour from me were closed. I’m using milk/warm water and puppy food soaked till mash/liquid form. I will be getting puppy formula as soon as a feed store opens tomorrow is this ok for one night, I figure it’s better than no food?

I heard it was okay to give a puppy goat milk as a replacement i didn't when i got two fosters but i would like to know your opinion

Melissa Lopez as a vet assistant, I would say no. Each animal is unique in that their bodies create a special type of formula for the baby they must care for. The nutrients a newborn goat would need to survive are much different than the nutrients a newborn pup would need to survive and be healthy. Your best bet- and safest bet- would just be to get milk replacement. I've even seen the milk replacement at Walmart before. I know I'm not the person who made this video but I hope I helped!

So. We gave a friend's friend 300 for her dogs mastitis, in exchange for a puppy. The mastitis blew open, and is now spreading so I have to go pick up and bottle feed our 1 week old puppy. Any tips? When do I need to deworm her? are warm water bottles warm enough? she'll be in a cat carrier on my bed.

My dog just gave birth when i wasnt home. I cam home to 7 puppies. 6 of them are doing amazing but 1 of them if refusing to eat and he is the runt of the litter as well. Should i give him milk replacer? Or is it because he's full? I have not seen him eat since i came home which is about 5 hours ago

I just got a 4 week old puppy orphan. His eyes are open and he pees on his own. He doesn't seam to want to take a bottle even when he whines. He eats very little almost nothing. Then falls back asleep and has been sleeping mostly since about 2 ish. Is this normal? Please help. I don't want him to get sick or die.

Of course she still wants milk. She is 5 weeks old. Why did they give her to you? She needs her mom. She will be unhealthy and have behavior issues now.

hi Kren, 5 weeks is young to take him away from his mom. is there a reason he can't be with his mom longer? pups should stay with mom for at least 6 weeks, 8 weeks is even better. he is too young for shots now, but you can take him to a vet at 6 weeks. Any dog milk replacement that you get at a pet store will work fine for you. start mixing it with his food to help move him to solids. do not take him to the park or pet stores or anywhere else until he has had all his shots and boosters, if you want to keep him from getting sick. if he stays with his mom longer, he would be healthier as an adult dog and seperation early can cause behavior problems. hope this helps.
