Humberto, thank you, you are one of 3 lawyers I watched to file all my paperwork to bring my wife and her 11 year old. I can say I messed up 2 times and they always took 60 days to review my messed up paperwork. Then my wife from Colombia got approved and she had interview in bogota. She took the original book I sent to uscis and she passed but they told her our marriage certificate was out of date so another 60 days to get approved 🤦🏼 but a good sign is they took her passport and the kids at interview so she sent that certificate by DHL that they said and 60 days later they sent the package with passport approved 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 me and my wife got married in medellin colombia

@@AnabellFereira we went to the notaria and got a certified copy of our marriage certificate in medellin when we first started the process in early 2020. When we got approved and she had the interview in bogota my wife took all the paperwork that we had used in 2020 , the officer doing the interview said that the marriage certificate had to be recent, so she didn't get denied but they gave her time to go get that certificate again and send it in through DHL in medellin. She did that asap and again we waited 60 days for the approval and a month later she got her visas

@Nessa1800 hi, no , I started the petition in march 2020 and after all the waiting and the different processes and after the interview she finally got the visa in medellin by DHL in January 2022 . As of now . She's here in Texas with me and she just received in the mail her residence card last week and now we're working on getting her social security card . The SS office are asking for a form to be filled and visa paperwork as well as resident card faxed to them in order to give her an appointment date .

But my confirmation came from California service center. I don't know why they are processing it in the California. Can I still apply for K3 ?

I'm British and my partner is a US citizen and we got married in NYC this year. As a Brit I have no problem visitting my partner in the US and staying for 3 months with an ESTA (which i have been doing). My first question is do I still need to file an i-129 petition for a K-3 if i can enter US with my current ESTA? - or can I just file for a i-130 for the green card? Second question: is there a much of a difference between the K-3 visa and an ESTA to visit my partner? Thank you very much in advance!

Andre, you need not wait to get back! you can file in the US while there...you just send it by mail! Yes you file both at the same time and see what comes first!

We all time inquire to NVC but they give same answer every time same email. It’s really hard to live apart it’s been 4 years. They have too much backlog and don’t knw why they focuses on other stuffs which are not needing now. We are husband wife they have to give us first priority. It’s really sad

You can file an i 751 waiver...get the receipt and fly back to the USA with the receipt.

My friend is from ghana and on a student Visa in Canada, and wants to get married to an American next month. What’s the process to file for green card after their marriage and does she need to travel back to Ghana after their marriage in order to apply for green card or can it be done in Canada since she schools in Canada?

I have been waiting for my husband to come to the us for 4 years the last time I went to visit him was 2019 and I came back to the us was pregnant now my son is 13 months due the COVID I can’t go to visit him. He hasn’t seen his son yet and I’m going through lots of stress living with my son alone here really need him to come here, we are waiting for an interview don’t know when it will be 😢😢

It is wrong to bring your foreign spouse to USA to be alone! It can cause depression or anxiety! I attempted to commit suicide because of the culture shock while my husband is working for US military government! He always leave me alone and I am unable to travel since he is not rich!!! On top of this is the travel documents in order to travel will take time!
