If anyone is interested in shed plans the best success that I have had was with the Wilfs Shed Formula (just google it) without a doubt the most useful course that I have ever followed.

@@madpaddy73 This reply is 2 years too late, but thought the same thing as you. Depending upon where you're watching this video, you can go to settings and change the playback speed. I slowed mine down to 25% to catch all the little nuances of the build. Hope that helps.

It is an awesome exclusive product for building better sheds and woodworking minus the headache. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my work buddy at last got astronomical results with it.

when i built our shed i used a plan from *WoodBlueprints. Com* and it had all the blueprints, supplies, materials, and list well laid out for me.

Looks good but why would you have the roof pitch going to the front and not the back? When it rains and you need to get to the shed all the water would be coming at you

Most of these would I suspect be located next to another structure in lean to fashion, so you'll want rain directed away from the main structure

They're currently selling a shed at home depot for $1900, same size 4 x8 ft. For the price, its worth DIY.

Yes it can be built on top of the ground. The level of the shed can be adjusted by shimming on the shed rails.

At 1.38 you cut the upright cladding flush presumably with a hand saw following the line of the frame. But you also get the front and back facia(?) into a diamond shape and i can't figure out how you did that.

Great video. This is very helpful. I can't find a shed at the HD or Lowes for less than $2.400 and I just want a shed to put my generator in to run when the weather is bad. I really only need one to be about 4-5' high. If I may ask how much for the materials for this project? Thanks for sharing this video.

It is the same size of shed we are working on right now. My question is .....with the slope going down to the entrance instead ....won't that cause rain to run down creating a puddle in front of the door? Is there a particular reason for a front slope versus a back slope?

Yes, its done like that so you can put the shed against the wall of the house.

It is the same with or without insulation.

Layer of sheathing covered with building wrap (tyvec or tar paper) then your siding. Insulate from the interior after wiring for electricity.

This is considered a free-standing lean-to. The term for sheds has more to do with the style of roof than actually being connected to another structure.

No wind rating without being mechanically fastened to the ground. You can install ground anchors and some simpson hardware to get it well over 100 mph

I built a shed with these plans from Ryan [ Details Here?> *WoodBlueprints. Com* ] . The instructions were clear and easy to implement. Even a novice can be able to build fast using this plan. I'm happy I bought the plan. It also saved me much cost.

Did you really need six 4x2's to hold a foot square window off the ground? I reckon if your window weighs less than 35,000lbs then you are good to go.

Why do people insist on making the roof slope towards the door? when it rain you are getting five or six feet of roof surface dropping rain on you rather than just the rain.

So you have more storage, use a rain gutter.

Great question. This shed was moved to the back side of a garage. The owner did not want the water running to the garage wall and down between the structures.
