In Project Zomboid, one of my favourite elements or aspects of the game is the building system which is such an underutilised and unexplored area of Project Zomboid for most players! A lot of time, new players will look for a pre existing building to make their main base location which can be good, however nothing is better than making your own building and base exactly how you want it and exactly how you need it!
In this tutorial I will guide you through building a base from complete scratch and all the necessary steps to first, build the most basic base to then adding extensions, then a second floor and finally extra features such as a farm and rain water collector barrels to get unlimited water! Furthermore, you do not have to copy this base 1:1 as this is only a basic template, you can make whatever you would like!
