How to build a floating wharf update

Күн бұрынThis is an update I did based on requests from viewers. I have often been asked in my comments how this type of wharf has stood up over time. I have several dock/wharf vids , I picked the first one I did so you can see how the oldest (and most used) one looks.

I was told that the temperature differences between summer/ winter will cause the barrels to " suck inwards" in cold weather....and that to solve this problem, its best to drill a small hole at the top of the barrel to allow the pressure to stabilize in winter months.

On one forum a guy from Texas talked about using garden hose to hold the barrels in place and when we built out dock we used garden hose with a screw and washer to hold it to the dock. Knock on wood 3 years this summer no problems.

Do u pull the pipes out of the lake floor or unbolt the brackets?

At the end of the season I pull the poles out
