Money is not and has never been the problem. Money is inanimate. Has no power, feelings, judgements, doesn't pick sides not makes its own decisions about who is in possession of it. The LOVE of money is and has always been the problem. It is an addiction just like any other. If it was water soluble you would see people putting it in their arms. It's only as powerful or as weak as we make it. Makes people sound so silly when they blame a thin sheet of whats essentially paper for the problems of the beholder. We are so unwilling to accept responsibility and the consequences that come along that we as a society have truly convinced ourselves that the man-made currency that only has the value that we say it has is to blame. Incredible, just incredible. 👏 👏 and we wonder why the world is the way it is and just keeps getting worse. We have to do better as humans, we have to be better. We are suppose to attempt to leave something in better shape than when we arrived for our children, grandchildren, and so on.. not worse. Much love to everyone who understands this and takes no offense to anything I've said. No ill will was meant just frustration.

One thing I didn't agree with. Mark doesn't owe anyone an explanation. He was offered a deal and he refused it, so he got punished by getting an 18 year sentence. Side note: If he did other crimes and can be found guilty (especially for turning a blind eye towards the rape cases), I hope he gets prosecuted AGAIN & AGAIN.

@@MrEvilchukky same as in the UK. It's been proven that herbal cannabis (not skunk) has many medicinal properties ie helps relieve pain, Ms, insomnia, the list just goes on and on. It's also non addictive unlike painkillers and sleeping tablets. Do you know who is the biggest grower of poppies to be turned into morphine?? Theresa May's husband. Yep that's right, an ex prime minister's husband. The whole lot of them, no matter what political party are getting big kickbacks from the large pharma companies

Odd that it was the Dutch making the precursor. On all the border control TV programmes it comes from China. The Dutch have one of the best attitudes to drugs. They know people are going to use, so I know outside of the big clubs in Amsterdam they had small testing portacabins. E's etc were tested, if they were safe to use they were given back, along with appropriate advice. Being in the cafes and pubs what a marvellous relaxed atmosphere. There was a champions league match between Chelsea v Liverpool. Everyone was having a smoke and a few beers. Match ended, no fighting at all!!! Amazing

The NSW Crime Commission (NSWCC) appears to have power similar to the US NSA + US Patriot Act, although I believe the NSA needs a FISA warrant to tap phones of US citizens, but I doubt they bother to obtain them in most cases. The NSWCC has a lot of power considering that it is not an AUS Federal agency.

I guarantee Australia has had far more and far worse "dirty" cops like this. Probably just the average Australian cop in the 1970s did worse than this. That isn't to defend this gambling addict goof himself. It's just that hearing all these other Australian cops telling the audience "he's the worst one we've ever had" screams "please, you can trust us now, this is the ugly side we're willing to let show, don't look any closer please..."

Drugs continuing to remain illegal, + decriminalisation never even being considered, screams of corruption, to me. Australia is the same as the UK in this respect, or so I imagine, the UK drug policy, which prohibits all the usual suspects, despite being a complete failure, just continues on costing a fortune whilst being totally ineffectual. Good news for drug dealers + people on the payroll, who I've no doubt include high level figures in public office. We're talking huge sums of untaxed cash, all being trousered by criminals who have it all to themselves. I don't believe it, no way!!!! There has to be others getting a slice of the pie, there are long established 'secure' channels allowing unhindered importation, I don't know as much but I think it more likely than not, corrupt officials are hardly something difficult to believe are in existence + UK political policy has for years promoted greed. Australia seems to be cut from the same cloth, things over there have taken some worrying turns recently, but the same thing applies to both nations, it's what we don't know that fascinates me..........................

Honor your Oath In a land where faith in government wanes, How can a nation thrive, its strength sustaine? For Those of you, who swore to uphold The laws of our land, and the values we hold You are held to a standard Where you have to be Honest and transparent For all to see. Law enforcement is a sacred ground Reserved for people, who feel duty bound To protect the people, safeguard our things, and run towards trouble, When others flee. You swore to God, make no mistake The oath you took on your first day It was a contract between God and man, To do what's right, not what's on demand. When the trust is broken when an officer cheats It's a tell tale sign, the future looks bleak. The glue that holds this great Nation together is a set of rules we follow forever. The Constitution of the United States Is what we turn to when we make mistakes It's a guide to our values, our way of life, because our forefathers knew that over time, we would lean on these principles as a guiding light to do the right thing, day or night. To protect the people, preserve our cherished land, Don't let us down, for united we stand. You swore an oath to protect and serve, that means running toward danger and getting hurt. If you think your priority is going home safe at night you must have bumped your head and lost your sight Remember the reason, you had the nerve To sign up for something you had to earn Betraying your oath is like telling telling God You lied on your application To be a cop. If you think you're above the law Think again rookie It's not our first day on the job You'll get sloppy, and get caught Then you'll be someone's bitch At the county lockup save us some time Turn in your weapon, Along with your star We'll accept your resignation who ever you are.
