Awesome video! All the others had a cylindrical cartridge and I had no clue what the heck I was looking at. Going down to the hardware store tomorrow, here goes nothing!

Step one: turn off the water supply

Step two: Drink beer, while deciding as to whether or not you want to continue with the project. If you drink enough, you'll probably decide to take a break. Hince: You'll likely safe yourself a little work, by deciding to finish later when you're not half drunk!🥴 Ps: Be sure to turn water back on. Better to have a leaky faucet than not have a shower for the next 6 months while you're trying to work up the courage to try again!😄

Info was good, but the video itself wasn't so great because of the one handedness made the picture not the greatest. Maybe consider a mounted camera if you're going to do more? If scratches from the wrench are ever are a bigger concern, I'd recommend a rubber strap wrench, sometimes also called oil filter wrench.

Thank u. I replaced my delta cartridge today and water was not turning off. However I put springs faci.g me instead of away. That may be the problem?? I will try it tomorrow

Just replaced mine cuz I thought it was the fix for my low hot water pressure….I was wrong! Still troubleshooting my reason for having low hot water pressure in my tub/shower only. New shower head, neck, spout and water valve. Moving to the hot water tank next

Thanks for the video. Maybe someone can help. After reassembly water now shoots out of the slot where the lever comes out. No matter what I do. Any help appreciated.

I figured it out. At least in my case, calcium from the old inner hardware shot up to the shower head and blocked the water in the shower head filter. Once I took the head off, water flowed perfectly.

Hey, can anyone help! I changed mine just like this video. My set came with the seals and springs. After I changed everything, the nob is very tight to turn and adjust water temperature. Please help.

@alpharettaleasing6492 yes the silicone on the ball, springs n seats is key for longevity just like oiling the seal when changing oil lol. Also inner portion that is used to tighten by key! Only just snug the cap then tighten inner portion to final resistance. Do not just crush down on the cap

Its good...but too shaky...I could not watch the ending. I will have to slow the speed. Also why is the shower hose hanging down when you are fixing....you should have hung it up.
