Nice video, but 1/4 of a turn is when you are reusing the existing sparkplug . But if using a new one is 1/2 a turn..good video sir

A little tip of sparkplug changes in tight spases is to use a small house on the top of the sparkplug insted of any tools to thred in the new sparkplug , and that is only to avoyd to damige the threds.

Great Video and very informative! The Honda manual maintenance section calls out: Canister Check, Charge tube check, purge tube check, but literally makes no other mention of these items. Can you review these in a video?

The socket size for that NGK plug is 13/16 not 14 mm. The 14mm doesnt even come close. I hope its the right plug your referring to.

When people mention Honda dealer, like a car dealership/service center. I bought my generator used from a person. So I'm not sure who you're referencing.

Where did you get that spark plug socket or who makes it? I ordered a 14mm spark plug socket off Amazon and it's the wrong size. The flange for the hex that I see on yours is much larger than 14mm. The hex appears to be roughly 13/16" (slightly too large) or about 20mm.

So I had some trouble accessing spark plugs on Honda generators.I do a lot of small engine work and purchased an excellent Spark plug toolset which you can learn all about here.... kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kM2VbKaSzZqlip8.html It's not widely available but can usually be found on eBay. Not cheap but no moving parks so I should have it for a lifetime. Best wishes to you and thanks for watching.

Thanks. It looks like that's no longer sold on Amazon and I can't find it on eBay. Web!ke says it has been discontinued. Oddly, I have not been able to find a 13/16" deep socket with the spark plug protection anywhere so far. I'll reply back here if I find something.
