On my saw, same model, there is a press down lock to hold the blade still when replacing. There is also a tool clipped in at the rear of the slide but the ring spanner works better. Thanks for the video.

My droppy has exactly the same broken piece on the guard where a trimmer fell from the trusses onto the guard and broke it. If you sand the sliders on the droppy it will slide much better. A new blade is so satisfying.🤩 Good video. Thanks heaps. @ladytradiej. 😁
