Any thoughts on buying the shocks with the springs already in place? No need for the spring compressor, etc.

there is a specific tool to union the spring with shock absorber that we can't DIY at home.

ThePariss333 It only takes an extra 10-15 minutes to take off that stuff. Also it makes sense because I'm sure majority of the people who are driving these days have no in depth knowledge about vehicles nor want to know. They generally head over to a mechanic when something feels off or given a check engine light. Or when they bring their car in for an oil change and are told that something needs to be changed. If you understand how to work on vehicles, you wouldn't let this get in your way of changing the struts.

Sorry...but this is nothing...I have a 2007 GMC Acadia and the dealership wants well over 300.00 to change out a signal light bulb. I did it myself and took it hours to do it. I took off the front clip and front tire on the SUV and the Bulb at the dealership was over 40.00 to buy. I remember in the past some parts store use to come out of the store and change out Bulbs or wipers for you free if you bought them from them.
