How to change in tank fuel filter in a ZH Mitsubishi Outlander 2.4

I go through the full process of removing and replacing the fuel filter in my 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander.
You will need a new filter to complete this job, could either be a Z1125 or a Z923. I ended up using the Z923 from Ryco.

I have no idea Byron, I never priced up a full replacement. Didn’t even think about it as an option until a work mate suggested it after I’d done the job

Hi Mate is the fuel filter the same & in same location for the 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander ZJ Petrol 4Cyl 2.0L 4J11? Thanks

From what I can see the filter for the ZJ should be Z1125. It will be in the fuel tank. If you have an access cover in the floor under the rear seats then the procedure for change out should be exactly the same.

@Shanes_Shed lol your welcome. I literally did this job yesterday, hence coming across your video. It's also worth mentioning that they have two sender units. One each side of the tank.

I believe the second sender is only on AWD models - this one is 2wd so no second sender (at least thats the info in the Mitsubishi repair manual)
