In this video we show you how to change the fuel and air filters on a Mitsubishi Outlander Di-D Turbo Diesel.
Changing these filters are vital part of vehicle servicing and prevent catastrophic failure i the future.

@benhillery5920 thank you mate, if I am honest, it was the 1st time I've ever done one. And I know from other cars, if they are over tightened it is easier to unscrew it with the whole assembly on the floor or in a vice.

Bom dia, sinto muito pela minha resposta tardia. não acho que uma barra de reboque ASX caberia no Outlander porque eles são muito mais largos. no entanto, se for apenas a bola de reboque na extremidade, elas deverão ser iguais. espero que isso ajude. abraços da Inglaterra

Hi, yes I believe it does either on the fuel pump or on the fuel rail.

To be honest because it has the electric fuel pump in the tank I find just cycling the ignition 3 -5 times then cranking it over usually gets it to self bleed but if you do fill it it probably would save you cranking it as much as I had to. I just choose not to because it is less messy. I am a messy tech 😅

I am not sure to be honest. I will check and get back to you. I would imagine that it would be an inline filter underneath if it is like my petrol Shogun Sport. Thank you

Hi, i have been Looking into it. Apparently according to some online forums, it may have one on the bulkhead (in a similar place to the Diesel one). If not it is just the one in the fuel tank on the end of the fuel pump. The ones in the tank aren't designed to be changed as a service item apparently.

@@wolf_kiff_workshop Hi Wolf, yeah looked into it also. The filter is in the tank and Mitsubishi recommends to change every 150 000ks. The component near the firewall or (bulkhead) I think may be a catch can

A h cool. That makes sense. I just it saw on one forum. A guy was saying that on the bulkhead was the filter but I have to admit I haven't worked on a petrol model Outlander yet so it kind of made me question myself lol

Oi. o custo de um kit de embreagem, incluindo um rolamento axial aqui é de £ 253,85. se você também precisar de um volante, custará mais £ 178,79. e o tempo que levará para o trabalho no nosso é de 7h30. O nosso é o modelo 4x4. então será 7,30 vezes a taxa de mão de obra da sua garagem. a taxa horária média aqui é de cerca de £ 65 - £ 85 por hora, então será de pelo menos £ 474,50. infelizmente não é um trabalho barato. parece que não há um rolamento piloto no volante de massa de duelo. Eu espero que isso ajude.

Ah probably. To be honest I have never heard of the mitsubishis having a petrol filter on the bulk head personally. I know that the old models like my sport had a small filter on the chassis under the passenger side. But I think that the newer models did away with that idea

Hi, Auto data states either 0w-30 or 5w-30 I used 5w-30 for our climate here in the UK due to our temperature differences. (-10ish in winter +36 in summer)

It will take 5.8 - 5.9 litres Sump plug torque = 39nm +- 5nm Oil filter torque = 14nm +- 2nm
