When I open the filter door there is no hinge that pops the filter out I tried using a wrench but is stuck any ideas ?

Excellent. Unfortunately, my old filter doesn't "pop out" like yours does. It stays right where it is. There is not enough of the filter available to grab onto. Does anyone have any ideas how to get the old filter out in this situation?

Hi, I was at my parents house and tried to replace for them since they can't get down there. They don't have the door either. My mom's trick is to use a flat rubber textured jar opener grip to get a good hold on the filter to pull it straight out. It worked for me when nothing else did. Hope it helps you!

One thing you can also do is to use a flat head screw driver as leverage and go on the left side of the filter and there will be some grooves that you use to pry it out. Worked for me.

I did it before with no problem but this time it will not go all the way in. Last time it was same thing and I ended up with broken tips, water leaked till I can get it fixed and now I can't change it again and I don't want to face same problem again,it was a nightmare. Can you please 🙏 help, I don't know why it would not go in

Yours could be different. But for mine, there’s a switch next to the light. And it states ‘Push switch 5 times within 10 seconds to reset water filter status’. Thanks for watching!

Mine doesn’t have a door. It has a round cover that is supposed to turn, then is put on the new filter.

Why isn’t the water dispenser working anymore?? I got a brand new filter…I have never used the water or ice filter. I decided to try it, so I bought the filters and NOTHING!! I’ve had it for a little over a week and NOTHING!!! I push the buttons and the noise is there but there is no action!!!😢

Isn't the first two batches of ice need to be thrown out after filter replacement?

I think if you lift your bar to turn off the ice maker before you start, you can skip tossing any ice.
