I would recommend changing the air filter each year as well.

Great how to video! I am new to the Honda mower and you taught me that the Honda will empty tipped on the ground without gymnastics. Previous mowers needed to be elevated. Also, appreciate the oil container tip...I always put "spout down".

Thank you. I just want to know what the capacity was and what oil to use and we're drain plug was. So 103 for sure definitely helps the drain plug is the dipstick. So now I don't have to worry about being a dipstick not knowing they just dump it out in a proper manner thank you. Little tongue and cheek but I do thank you and I would have been looking for that pipe plug on the bottom of the motor otherwise

I use a measuring cup. 12 ounces. I just dump it in and only check oil before starting.

Hello there, My lawn mower worked. Ran out of gas. I filed it with new gas it still isn’t working. Would it be that it needs new oil?

Does it matter if I change the oil after Stabilizing the fuel? We have a two yr old Honda Craftsman from Lowes. Also, can I assume there's no oil filter of any sort?

The manuel says use 30 under detergent oil ?

Got a Honda mower but my wife for some reason decided to be a handy man and poured the oil into the gas tank. I thought I got it repaired but (after the winter) when I go to start the mower it starts up fine but when I go to cut grass it makes a hard revving noise. Any easy fix or am I going to the repair shop again? Or do I have to just buy an all new mower.

Are you using car engine oil?

UGH my mower is a husqvarna but with a honda engine. Year after year, it purs like a kitten and never has a problem. BUT EVERY YEAR when I change the oil, this exact same thing happens to me, and oil spill everywhere! It drives me nuts! ALL they have to do is make the spout longer so it reaches OVER the body of the mower. But nope, you are required to make a mess doing this job!

You are at 80% when you check the oil..... why not slowly add until you are at 100%?

In fact, keep your head down, act like you’re busy & you’re meant to be there & staff will ignore you. *Note:* Staff displaying a pimpled face above their name tag, on their neck to are likely to enter your designated freezer & stare at you in silence. It’s important to remember, although they are still staff members, they are your staff members & one should continue to devour the box of Maxinbon Ice creams, instruct Staff to grab a bottle of water off the shelves. • Add water in oil reservoir to increase the speed of freeze. • Carryout shopping whilst waiting for oil/water mix to freeze. Instruct staff to grab olive oil spray & baby oil. • Advertise black ice block on EBay as murderabilia. Preserved ‘The Cecil Hotel’ water. • Start Lawn mover as exiting the store to drown out Security’s request to pay for groceries. • Note the mower will become hot quick with no oil, spray olive oil while continuing to walk home. • Place Sausages on hot engine parts & enjoy, ensuring to ride the mover & eat sausages on any downhill parts of the route. • Tell staff member to STOP pushing once you have reached your property. • Give a list of chores to the staff member after they’ve filled the mover with the baby oil & put all the shopping away. • Set the staff member free prior to commencing next oil change.

It’s actually a very stupid thing to do oil gets thicker when warm so all the gunk stays in the motor
