They are using cheap metal and cheap ordinary spray paint that will flake off. What I use is 100% made in the USA heavy-gauge hand-cut steel, my industrial paint and my mounting hardware even the zip ties are made in the USA. I'm the original creator of the radiator protective grill for the Can-Am Ryker. I did a lot of research and a lot of testing before I released the product. I didn't just hop on the internet and see whose idea I could copy today. I invented this product. I have sold over 700 in the US. I use 3 day priority shipping with a tracking number all included in the price. I ship them anywhere in the USA. If you'd like to place an order message me through social media please. JW: what is the difference between this Ryker specific tire vs. a car tire?
@BLRTUNING
@BLRTUNING 4 жыл бұрын
The tires that are available for the Can-Am ryker are made by kenda tire and they are contracted by brp.... beer made specifically for the Can-Am riker they are the only tires on the market right now that are actually designed for the Can-Am ryker... They are a four-ply tire that does not have any steel belts in it... The front tires are designed to be stickier than the back tire to prevent a rollover... This means the back tire would slide out and lose traction before the front tire in most scenarios... car tires are not recommended to be installed on the Can-Am ryker by BRP.... With that being said lots of people do it.... The Can-Am ryker tires are also very lightweight in most scenarios your average car tire is going to be heavier..

What made you decide to go with another stock tire?.
@BLRTUNING
@BLRTUNING 4 жыл бұрын
it is the only option available unless you want to go to the car tire which is probably not recommended since the tires that came on the bike are designed specifically for the Can-Am Ryker by Kenda tire and contracted by BRP... Until somebody comes out with a better tire that is specifically designed for the Can-Am Ryker the stock factory tires are the only tires that I would ever recommend to anyone...

Thanks for the video. I have been trying to find the part number for the two bolts used to bolt on the brake assembly, and I cannot find them anywhere in Can-Am's site. Can you tell me what the part numbers might be, or what length the bolts are? Also, the page that showed the torque, was that from a service manual, or are torque specs available online anywhere? Thank you.
@BLRTUNING
@BLRTUNING 2 жыл бұрын
That would be from a service manual. If you can look at the social media links that are in the description below the video and message me somehow or get a hold of me through email I'd be happy to share the service manual. blrtuning.tech@gmail.com

@@BLRTUNING One of the forums responded that there is another spot in the Final Drive Assembly that has a similar M10 bolt, I am hoping it is the same class and thread pitch. Dare to dream. Since I will have to replace the entire rear brake unit, I am going to have to bleed the brakes when I am done. Haven't had any luck finding a video on bleeding the brakes on a Ryker. The service manual tells me I need the $600 BUDS2 system. Is that true? Am I fooling myself that I can bleed the brakes myself, and should just bite the bullet and take it to the dealership and pay for them to do it?
@BLRTUNING
@BLRTUNING 2 жыл бұрын
@@randrew7180 you can bleed the brakes yourself and you do not need the buds scanning tool to do that. That is obviously somebody trying to sell you something. If you're familiar with basic mechanics bleeding the brakes, rebuilding the brakes, changing the brake pads, changing the rotors is all stuff you can do that is all mechanical and does not require buds.

@@BLRTUNING And what other than the original tire would you give which one? Thank you.
@BLRTUNING
@BLRTUNING 2 жыл бұрын
The factory OEM Kenda tires are the only ones that are protected under your warranty. What this means is if you run a different tire other than those tires and end up having a blowout on the freeway or something like that and it causes a wreck you will be responsible and it will not be covered under warranty. I do not recommend anything but the stock factory tires..
