What is crazy is that viewership is all dependent on the niche. Your information, demeanor, articulation, and video quality are top of the line. With this much time on KZfaq and consistent quality, videos on any other genre and you would have hundreds of thousands of subscribers. However I am glad someone can properly excite others in this Niche genre of tea. Keep up the good work.

I bought it from onecupoftea.pl, a couple who travel to Nepal and discovered the Everest tea estate. But it's advertised as black tea, not green tea, although I believe it's the same tea Don tried, as it has exactly the same aroma/flavor profile Don is talking about here. I really love it and their Born In Flames black tea as well.

Hah, I watched the whole the video and forgot that I was boiling Bai Mu Dan 2010 in the kitchen (used leaves after the session). :D After 40 min there was only about 50 ml remaining :D I tasted it and I can say it has really thick texture. Like condensed milk :) Interesting... Now I hope that it won't kill me :D

Your Nepalese sample is intriguing. From a quick check on Wikipedia, I learned that vasantha means spring, so what you have there seems to be a first-flush oolong. Also, is it possible that those odd bits are not stem but buds?

That “letter opener” is actually a tea pick for teas that are compressed into tea ‘cakes’. Mainly Pu Erh teas, but white teas are also pressed into cakes. Hope this helps 😃.

Don, are you sure the Nepalese tea is really a green tea? Or did Celine trap you here? Because I've got this Nepal Vasanta and it looks and tastes identical to your description and I bought it from a seller that advertises it as black tea. It's a delicious tea by the way and worth selling.

Vasili Leung - Is there a reason you think green tea is boring? Because i don’t think green tea is boring, there are alot of diferrent green teas out there and i’m always excited to try them. So can you please explain further? And i also don’t think you’re uneducated about green by the way you talk.
@vasilileung2204
@vasilileung2204 5 жыл бұрын
Timo I AM uneducated about green tea. And the reason for that is I generally find it boring as there isn’t much variation in them as let say oolong. To me, all great green tea taste similar, and all lower grade green tea taste similar. Not so with oolong. Great Formosa oolong from Alishan is different to great Tung Ting, and great tiekuanyin is different to great Dancong. You get my drift? The only time I had an outstanding green tea and I still think about it today is a biluochun a friend brought me when he was in Nanking. Most recently I returned from China and I purchased the most expensive green tea in the shop-¥100RMB per 500g Xinyang Maojian from Henan province. Bit of a disappointment. I take it to the office and drink it as a work tea. So my thinking of green tea being boring comes from my lack of understanding of green tea, which in turn comes from my attention mainly focused on Oolongs. Maybe it’s time I should explore green tea more
