After thirty years as a freelancer, I take a certain amount of pride in not having any current gear. I own a couple 5DIV's, EF L's, Profoto Pro 7b, Acute2 and M2 MBP to name a few.

If you shoot a lot of landscape in and around the ocean, your tripod and equipment will disintegrate astonishingly quickly.

Daniel, I really appreciate your insight into this side of the business. I am an accomplished motorsports photographer who has decided to venture down the studio photography path. Out of the thousands of content creators out there, I have have your videos to be the most helpful with easy to understand guidance and sensibility over technicality prowess.
