I went to one of the branches to see those racks in person. Looking close to Light Commercial Power Rack 5.1 is a significant degradation compare to Light commercial Power Rack 4.0.If I recall it properly, Light commercial Power Rack 4.0 was made from 11 gauge with post size 2.3 x 3" and it's make sense to call it Light Commercial. The new rack shares only the name, as all the properties have shrank unfortunately. The price also went up. The only commercial part for this rack is the name! It's really sad.

I'm building a new garage gym and have never purchased a power rack. I want to start with the solid base. Working in Indianapolis I can't pass up your discount. I am caught between the 5.1 rack recommended by GGR or the 4.1 with lat pull down. I feel like I can add the LPD later, and don't want to regret not starting with the most solid rack. What say you?

I (Kaevon) have the LCM in my house, although almost double the price it's our best selling rack. The feature on it are things you might not even know you ever wanted but it's worth it. Like you said you can add that lat pulldown later.

I wonder with the cable attachments that go in the front of the cage, Do you need to bolt down the cage for the lever arms?

It would depend on the rack, but we recommend securing the cage.

@@BELLSOFSTEEL light commercial rack. Wouldn't the functional trainer help the surface tension enough that it wouldn't need to be bolted down? Or would it just wriggle around.
