We were going to get one of your bobil heaters for our van but now the hybrid is out it’s definitely on our shopping list. It’s a much better cost effective option for us. Great work. 👍

Hi, I already bought my sys system which includes the plastic tank. My design was intended to pressurize the cold ans hot water too. This video is mentioning not pressurize the plastic tank. we agree to say that it will be pressurized only when showering... What kind of issue will I end up with... The plastic tank walls seems to be quite solid. I dis not try it yet to add 40deg hot water and pressurize it with my small 12v pump. We agree to say about 30-40 pounds pressure... I don't want to drille holes if someone already tried it ?

for your biggest air hester how much room do I need for exchangers in front of outlet of a 5kw Chinese Diesel Heater?
@tripsinseemore36958 ай бұрын
Im planning a gas, diesel, 12v combination of heaters, does your hybrid system have a gas option coming or could I put a Propex external gas heater into the air line and still use your heat exchanger for the hot water? Great looking kit you have.
@bobilvans42058 ай бұрын
Yes it works with propex heaters, and you can use the smart controller to activate the propex when you want hot water 👍

Good info. Thanks guys. Do you supply to the United States?
@bobilvans42052 жыл бұрын
Yes we do - you can check the shipping page on the website for more details. The Air Hybrid is more expensive to ship as it comes with a tank, but is the more complete system.

Any thoughts on a 110v / 110+12v option? Or could I source a 110v element local that will fit?

Hi at 2.03 you mention being able to use the solaris along side the 800w 230v element to make sure your lithium batteries don't run flat. I bought the 230v Air hybrid kit from you recently and the solaris controller wasn't included in the kit. Do I have to buy it as an extra to work on my set up? I have 600w lithium batteries and a 3kw inverter, would it be compatible? Thanks, Joe

I think the controller is only included in the dual system 12v/230v system

We already have your bobil heater with an 18l water tank that we bought from you in Sept/Oct time. We fitted it to our van completing our build, but wish now we had waited for the hybrid system to be released. Is there anyway we can just upgrade the system we have by buying the parts we need for the hybrid system? Or would it be more cost effective just to buy the whole system again?
@bobilvans42052 жыл бұрын
Hi there - there are a few options to upgrade. Send us an email to info@bobilvans.co.uk and we’ll let you know the details 👍

How many Ah does the bobil 12v electric use to heat up the tank and how long does it take?
@joshgolo10 ай бұрын
145 min at 12v 200w. 30-35ah depending on temp
@glenchilada2 жыл бұрын
If the tank is pressurized, does that mean it can be used without a separate pump?
@bobilvans42052 жыл бұрын
Yes you won’t need a separate pump 👌

I have some 12V batteries connected to solar panels on my shed. I'm really considering the Bobil Electric to heat my hot tub rather than having to heat it from the mains.
@bobilvans42058 ай бұрын
I think a hot tub will be a bit on the large side for a DC element, however heating using a diesel heater rather than electricity will be much cheaper, especially if you can use kerosene. You just need a diesel heater, submersible pump, adaptors and heat exchanger.
@craigmcfly8 ай бұрын
@@bobilvans4205 it's more that I want to try and find a renewable way of either heating, or at least slowing the cooling, of the tub.
@bobilvans42058 ай бұрын
@@craigmcfly there are solutions which involve direct heating from the sun through black heat absorbing plates, which will be more efficient that going from the sun to electricity then to heat. Need a sunny day though!
