I'm from Australia! I was doing Mechanical Engineering at The University of Adelaide, but this year I transferred to Product Design at the University of South Australia 😊 I've loved both of the universities so far!

I was a business major and wasted 2 and a half years because now I'm a nursing major and I have to start all over. I'm 20 and will graduate at 24 with my BSN, RN. Because I want to travel so I want to be a travel nurse and this video truly helped me in moving from Florida to Vegas !

I would love to go to college in an other country, but I live ine France and study aren't really expensive there, which is so cool but when I did research to see where I could go, college in country that intrest me are really expensive and my parents and I can't afford that....

I'm actually from Sydney and go to UNSW myself!! I'm not in Engineering (I'm an Information Systems major) but Engineering at UNSW has a really good reputation and community according to quite a few friends who study it.

Dress nice, and stand out from most of the college students who wear sweatpants and scrub stuff. You don' t have to "dress up" but, dress like you're going out to lunch with your friends each day

This is good advice! I didn't really consider location too much or social life since I thought I'd just be studying 24/7 and not going out at all(hahah that did not happen!) I just transferred out after a year since I was one hr away from the city and growing up in LA I found out living in the suburbs was extremely toxic for me. The social life is pretty self explanatory lol.

Wish I had watched this before I went to college. Please everyone - who isn't in college yet - choose a major that you LOVE. Something that matches your PASSION. Something you would love to do in the future. I regret my decision I made, and I hope as few people as possible go through this. I don't really have the opportunity to change my situation - maybe you will do which is great - but still, FOLLOW YOUR HEART, CHOOSE WHAT YOU GENUINELY LOVE.

I am in love with the girl who is engineering student as you. A beautiful girl 's studying engineering subject seem so rare .I like watching your video. Although I didnt get totally your words 100% , I still got some main idea from the video. This is also the time for me to practice my listening English skill. Loved this video! Just wanted to say that for those interested in getting a degree that covers an expansive area of study, liberal arts colleges are a great option :)

Whaat it's so cool that a college sponsored you!! You should go to grad school there/ overseas because I 100% think everyone should go to college abroad either for a semester or grad school or even their whole degree. I personally go to college in Ireland (I'm from the US) and I love it sooo much :) You seem like you want to do it & you totally should!!

I go to UNSW and study engineering there. I can't say the location is the best unless you can afford a location close to the beach and the city. Otherwise, have fun lining up in the peasant bus line because public transport is quite horrible and congested in the area. UNSW probably has the best to offer in terms of extra-curricular activities and on campus food - but the quality of teaching is a hit and miss depending on whether the lecturers care about you or not. i.e. they don't really care about 1st and 2nd years (in my experience). I can also bet you that only 40% of your cohort actually care about learning because most Australian kids are privileged enough to go to Uni for free after highschool and pay it off when OR IF you make enough income :)

like ow my god i didn't realize how stressful University application can be, ooh dear lord MERCY. I want to get into the best architecture University that are in Britain but the application process for international students is honestly so different as if it is almost too draining, if anyone can PLEASE offer me ANY sort of help in that topic, I would massively appreciate it! and I love you so much Natalie! keep being on top of your game gurl😊💕

Omg UNSW!!!! I live in Australia so I can attest to it being a good school! I'm not sure what it's like to go there but it does have a good reputation! I live Melbourne though so it wasn't an option for me :)

What are the top colleges known for their engineering/ architecture programs? Is there a video for that already? :) if there is, I'm sorry I missed it on your channel lol

Jasmin, here are some top engineering colleges, besides MIT / Stanford / Berkeley .. Rice, Georgia Tech, Carnegie Mellon, Wash U of St Louis, Virginia Tech, Michigan, Colorado School of Mines, etc. It depends on your location and focus, because you should go in state to save tuition $$$, and should go to a school that has a strong program in the field that you want to study!

Jasmin C yup just research more about where you want to go. Having a good college experience and being somewhere you can love for 4 yrs is more important than the name of the school on the degree. remember that :) let me know if you have any questions. im a engineering career mentor. thanks!
