melissa, that black jacket is amazing! May I ask what brand it is. Great video thank you. I just got patent leather coach boots and you can see finger marks all over them and I haven't worn them. I was able to clean them with a lot of dish detergent and water

The Hunter boot buffer works pretty well as far as restoring the shine back into your boots. When you use it on the matte version of the boots you get a little extra shine. When you use it on the gloss, you get the shine back into them. I have 16 pairs of Hunter rain boots that I have to maintain so I definitely need to buy some more boot buffer to clean my rain boots !

Hey Melissa, great insightful video. How frequently would you apply the hunter boot buffer? In the blog post you recommended washing the boot every week or few weeks so at that time would you also use the spray as well? Also, would you recommend spraying the boots immediately after purchasing or just when necessary? Thanks!

That is a great video, but I still have a question to ask - I got my Hunters 2 days ago and they are great, but today I wore them with a pair of black leggings and now I have a discolouration on the insdie ! Do you know how to gently clean them from the inside ?? Thanks !

knowing how to clean and maintain rubber, is a quite attractive, and an aspect that is often lost on people. many people appreciate rubber, and latex. some companies have developed pvc or plastics to use as an alternative to expensive, natural and organic rubbers. these can be effective, though not the same as a tree rubber, in some attributes. hunter brand is one of the best boot craft company in the world, the definition of craft, is still held by them, and are not "machine manufactured" but are still "hand made". carrying with them quality of the ages, and a 1 year or 365 day warrentee. purchase them, use them every day for 360 days of the year, and then have them replaced for free. increases value, and durability for two years.

I have a pair of white coach rain boots with coral and fishes on it. I've had these for probably close to a decade and they now have yellow stains on them. Probably rust stains? How can I remove the yellow stains?

I have learnt this the long way and slipped in the mud. p.s Hunter sponge instant shiner works, STP sun of a gun spray works better than the hunter spray and protects the boot from blooming and sun light.

Olive oil works really well. Most people use that instead of buying the expensive Hunter product.

I Only WEar HUNTER , CLARKS & DOCTOR Marten B00Ts but i m getting Older so i kinda passing up on the DocTor Marten ones i just wish i didn t buy so many Docs DESSERT Boots CLARKS are my Favourite ( i ve got Suede Nubuck and mostly leather .

I scratched my hunters when I was cutting through some tall grass. Will the buffer take out scratches? I think it was from a thistle or hard grass.

Just so people know you can use show Polish that is close in colour and Polish out the white scratch and then use the Hunter Buffer to blend in and make it disappear.

usa.hunter-boot.com did have a buffer pad, but i am sure you can use any sponge brush, or any make up buffer

NO Washing up liquid or soap. you will reduce on the grip on the boots over time. Clean water only.

many people love the smell of "fresh" natural rubber. one will never be able to remove the smell of the material rubber, for any smell is an oxidation process, where molecules, enter as a gas into the air or more specifically the oxygen we breath. though, in relation to this, you are able to "Reduce" the smell, by cleaning and polishing the surface, with materials that will not "Break down" the rubber. organic oils, and petroleum will molecularity break down rubber. rubber is made from the sap of a tree, the sun, direct contact, will destroy the molecular bonds, through radiation, and energy passing through the material. the sap of a tree is created to carry water, and soluble minerals, and chemicals. not electricity or radiation. thus is why the rubber, is used to create electrial and radiation resistent clothing. the leaves of a trees process electricity and, radiation. the water resistance, is created by the tree, rubber is denser then water. thus water will not pass through rubber, much as you or i, may not pass through walls, stones, metals, or plants.

hunter spray i am sure, but not certain is a silicon based polish made specifically for rubber, it may work well on latex clothing, as well. though rubber, and latex are not molecularity identical.silicon, as far as i am aware is based off of silicate minerals, such as quarts crystals, or quarts bearing stones. please share with me any information you know or acquire on the topic, as i have not the time, at the moment, to do research.
