How to Compare in English | 6 Linking Words with Examples

When you want to compare in English - job offers, mobile phone plans, gym memberships, online courses, or skin care products - linking words can help you highlight the similarities.
Of course, when making comparisons in English, you can use comparative and superlative forms such as
- Better
- Faster
- Cheaper
- More support
- More beautiful
However, you can also structure elegant sentences to compare in English using linking words. For example:
- Likewise
- As ... as
- As well as
- Same as
- Similarly
And more. These words simplify how to compare things in English.
Linking words are words or phrases that connect one part of a sentence to another. In other words, they build a bridge from one idea, one sentence, to another.
When you use these bridges in your speech, they create a logical connection. An easy transition. Even better, they improve the flow and clarity of your speech.

Even he's married now, he's still a pulling person as same as when he was a teenage...He's a type of innovation co-worker as well as challenging... As I recalled I have not ever used the word 'likewise' so far.

Let's address this sentence: "As an adult I still wake up early as same as when I was a teenager." Fix: As an adult, I still wake up _____ early _____ I did when I was a teenager. Which words do you think are missing?
