In this video we are going to see how to configure Alcatel lucent switch as a DHCP server.

subnet 192.168.100.0 netmask 255.255.255.0
dynamic-dhcp range 192.168.100.50 192.168.100.200
option subnet-mask 255.255.255.0;
option routers 192.168.100.254;
option domain-name-servers 8.8.8.8;
option domain-name-servers 8.8.4.4;
option domain-name “example.local”;
option dhcp-lease-time 86400;

PingDelay = 200

do you have any documentation regarding dhcp on these alcatel switches? i need to put an proxy option via dhcp but i've tried almost everything i've found and no success

Unfortunately, I do not. But as per my knowledge Alcatel support RFC 2132 options. Please take a look at that. I hope this helps.

You can add DHCP scope for another VLAN in the same file, switch will identify the subnet using the IP interface. Make sure to create a VLAN interface for that VLAN.
