If its a says “Full Controller support” that means u dont need to set everything up? Just Connect by bluetooth or usb cable then just play it?

i really need to know how to download your configuration, when i go to the link it brings it up, but it doesnt let me apply it, i can look at it, edit it, and exit it, and thats it... how do i search for it and download it/apply it to the game? PLEASE HELP! i have been scouring the internet to figure this out, my friend and i just bought the game last night so we can play it today.

Is there a setting for like when i play these lego games yes nostalgia lmao but when there is a thing where i have to make kind of circle with my left stick and it just doenst do it consistantly it just stops somewhere like yeah i dont rly know how to explain it or is my controller just broken?

How do you using controller paddles on games that don’t have mapping for that? I can map my Xbox controller including the paddles in the steam mapping tool for games like No Man’s Sky, but not for Cyberpunk, which would be much more useful… this is for steam deck btw

Yes u can just press multiple buttons to activate it

The way its setup, would allow you to turn this on for any game, but depending on the game, might means you'd have to do a lot of mapping config.

It works for any game you run through Steam. So you can add any non-Steam game and have almost all of this. The one thing you don’t get for non-Steam games, even if there exists a Steam version but you have the GOG version, for example, is access to the library of other community made controller settings per game. So you’d have to either come up with your own controller settings on your own, or find some sort of third party tool to download and import community settings for your non-Steam game.

The Steam controller (not to be confused with Steam Controller) settings is one of the best tools for controller on PC, but I think it has strong competition with reWASD. I do think that reWASD is more powerful than Steam’s controller settings, but reWASD doesn’t allow you to customize your controller...with your controller. You need the mouse to click around and set it up.

Yes, I call a game pad a controller, so they should be interchangeable.

@@GingerPrimeGaming thanks again man you are truly another warrior of light 🙏 I can't wait to try this out on new world on my gaming keypad that has a joy stick on the side, I struggle with mouse and keyboard , mostly a controller guy myself, but this gaming keypad I have feels really nice when I play other mmorpg's that only use mouse and keyboard.

Curious. Do Asian games always refer to controllers as gamepads? I normally play only western games, so when I started playing FFXIV, it threw me off that it uses the term “gamepad”.

it’s me or the xbox one elite 2 just doesn’t work at all!!! there is an progam that I need to use to make it work xbox accessories and for some reason it overwrites the steam controller settings :/

That's the controller I'm using, so I don't know why it's giving you fits, but hopefully that gets resolved.

Super late but, the newer firmwares for elite 2 controllers don’t allow 3rd party apps to use the paddles. A work around would be to bind your paddles to the face buttons (ABXY) then use steam to bind the face buttons.
