How to sync alternating left right foot ankle technique??

This is how I learned to use my ankles well, great tip!

So is it good to just take as long as it takes getting heel down as efficient as possible? Basically just focusing on heel down until I can lift the heels and be able to control the ankles just as good?
@Invontor Жыл бұрын
@@king-manu2758 For me heel down was just the stepping stone for getting the feel of the motion, and then translating that motion over from the shin muscles (heel down, front of the leg) to the calf muscles (heel up/floating heel). Actually developing the heel down technique likely won't help too much for heel up ankle since it's a totally different set of muscles to learn to control. Hopefully that makes sense, if you have any other questions feel free to ask

@@Invontor I agree, learning to play with a lowered heel on a footboard does not give an advantage in ankle technique, because the heel rises, as I understand it, this is only useful for the first study. Explain if it’s not difficult, I understand that in moving the ankle you can play with your calves or you can play with the tibialis anterior muscle, if this is so, what is the difference?

I see you have played both Iron Cobras and Speed Cobras. Do you have a preference for the ankle technique??

Both pedals are great for it :) If you have good technique you will play on everything

@@KrzysztofKlingbeinDrums thanks! I have the power glide Iron Cobra 900, but the speed cobra is rolling glide. Would the power cam make it harder to control with the extra ramp up at the end of the stroke? Instead of going for a speed cobra, I think I can buy just the rolling cam for $35

How do you overcome the drag from the drive shafts u-joints aside from buying one that uses bearings? I'm on a set of dw9000s and it seems like nothing i can do makes the left pedal feel as smooth as the right.

there's almost no way without a bearing in the drive shaft

I can play fast with both feets. But my control sucks. Thank you

What is your spring tension in the Speed Cobra?
@marcomizzoni83239 ай бұрын
Yeah I’m interested in spring tension too. Thanks

are you engaging calves or tibialis?
@internet_tough_guy_3 ай бұрын
If you are playing heel down like that it is all tibialis. Not learning to be primarily dependant on your calve imo is a huge mistake. Once you try to transition to very fast playing you will 100% run into major endurance issues.

do the speed cobras normally squeak that much? thinking of buying one

Playing repeatedly heel down like that is going to F-u in the A when you go to learn heel toe. Way better to practice doing slow singles with heels in a neutral position. In my opinion.
