Quick Question Ed,I'm in the process of buying a good roland workstation?and would it be worth it to get the G8 which I here is good,but is discontinued and outdated?or should I stay updated with maybe an"FA"Or what is current or maybe a few years old?or what's a good recommendation for a really good workstation Or if anyone can reply?

Nice tip, ED! I really need your help here, since virtually no one seems to know anything about the Fantom G. Any advice on how to get the Fantom G and Logic X running Mojave to talk to each other VIA USB audio and midi? Seems like a lost cause without the Editor software, which ironically Roland does not support any longer for newer OS upgrades.:-(

Good stuff. Love my G, fun right at my fingertips, even with a mouse connected ! Hey, while you're at it, please, tell your good.friends@roland.com that at the very least, they should make every bit of gear still in production, that is with a USB audio connection, usable with the Mx-1, starting with the SH-01 GAÏA (which is very handy for live playing). I have no illusion regarding the G, but that's not so much of a problem with the digital in (Or m'y Integra-7 that I can cascade into the G with the Digital in too). Why wasting two mono channels for stereo Roland gear when they carry USB over audio ? I'd rather plug in mono analog synth for deep bass and screaming leads into channel 1-4 (name every other such Japanese/US/French/German/British gear manufacturer).
